Open, welcoming and friendly location. We stayed in one of the first houses as you come down the lane into the property. All the amenities you would expect and very clean. Lovely spot to relax and we’d have liked to stay a bit longer. Had a nice dip in the pool and after the kids quickly dried whilst jumping on the trampoline. However just a short stay before we made our way down to Algarve. All staff we met were polite and friendly. Anna and her husband went above and beyond for breakfast. Great selection and kids loved the pancakes. Previous comments I’d seen mentioned breakfast was too little. Not our experience.

Nice and different place about an hours drive from Lisbon. Had everything needed for a good stay. Nice stay and even dairy free pancakes which were a bonus due to an allergy. Host was lovely and pool a bonus. We got bitten quite badly by mosquitoes. It had rained quite bad so wonder if that was a factor? The title says it 'country' so of course there are insects and the like within the vicinity.
