The pool and jacuzzi area was absolutely amazing! We had it all for ourselves and the water was really warm so it was perfect. The rooms were great as well, and the breakfast buffet was just enough for our one-day stay, loved the pancake machine! Staff was friendly and check-in and check-out process was easy and quick.

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and not conducive to outdoor activities and walking about. So, I had to drive to restaurants and most everywhere. In the rain, on mountainous roads, this became more of an effort than I wanted on my vacation. When I did go to recommended attractions, I found them crowded. I loved my accommodation, but I did not find the island of Sao Miguel to my liking. Perhaps, visiting at another time of year would be better.
