What a wonderful place! Modern design, it could be situated in New York or London, or maybe in Copenhagen. The staff was friendly and polite and breakfast consisted of local delicacies. I think we'll come here again!

Everything from the historical perspective, quality of furnishings, breakfast. But best was the owner Louis. Guided tour even his childhood toys. A great conversationalist we had good talks together. The pool was available and the building is truly unique in the modern high rise world of hotels. The town is not overwhelming but next door Don Antonio (check name) restaurant is marvellous at simple, home cooked Portuguese fare. Try salted cod.. Wow. The whole ambience is special, I felt I was the resident of my own medieval castle, but in a good way
Garage and access great for bikes

The place was great, nicely decorated and very clean, although we were only staying overnight on our trip from France to Porto. The host was very nice in coming to greet us after hours, and we managed to explain ourselves somehow with me not speaking Portuguese. A complimentary fruit basket was a very nice touch. Our Burmese cat was accepted without any issue (or cost) and seemingly also felt very comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was a nice extra. Place is very clean and well maintained. Staff is attentive and helpful.
The room had a modern design, is small but has fridge, tv and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable.
The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, very quiet for resting or hikings.
The breakfast is outstanding, homemade jams, cakes, etc. They use local products and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing especially Mila!
They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.
A nice quaint house located near vineyards, very quiet neighborhood & only 10-15 minutes away from the town of Maçedo de Cavaleiros, restaurants & shops. The host was very pleasant & friendly.
Nice quiet hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Decor is a little dated but entirely functional. The AC works and it's a 2 minute drive to the centre of town for restaurants, supermarkets etc.
Came across this hotel almost by accident on a previous trip and had no hesitation booking it again. The staff are very welcoming/helpful and breakfast is full of home made goodness.
