The important thing for us was the room. Being an above knee amputee , I need a bathroom that is accessible and this room delivered. What a gem to find in the center of the old city.

This was an exceptional five star 'hotel' experience in a beautifully renovated house. The attention to detail in the renovation, the interiors and the presentation has to be admired and in my case was fully appreciated. A wonderful experience in Penha. A plentiful fresh breakfast was looked after by Sara with a caring smile.
Best of all you, after breakfast you see Penha which is on your doorstep and then travel down to Guimaraes.
