Izabelz Bruno at the front desk was an amazing addition to our trip. Not only did she have a great smile and joyful personality, she provided very great insight on local dining. As a foodie myself, she gave us awesome recommendations for dinners of authentic Portuguese cuisine. Great stay!

Faro is the picturesque capital of the Algarve region, offering colourful streets and buildings, Moorish influence, and typical Portuguese charm. It is encompassed by the lagoon of Ria Formosa Natural Park, and offers wide beaches, a laid-back atmosphere, and a vibrant nightlife.
Occupied by Phoenicians and Carthaginians, and once an important Roman harbour and Moorish culture capital, it was almost flattened by the 1755 earthquake. Happily, the historic centre survived and is today one of best preserved in Algarve. Choosing a hotel in Faro’s Old Town will allow you to have a more authentic Portuguese experience.
The long, sandy beach of Praia de Faro is 7 km from the city, and the beach on Barreta Island –also known as Deserta - is probably the most tranquil in the region. Hotels near the beach in Faro and the surrounding towns of Olhão, Tavira, Quinta do Lago, Quarteira and Vilamoura, are all excellent ways to enjoy sunny Portugal.
Faro International Airport offers connections throughout Europe, and the city also offers ferry, railway, and bus links. Whether you need a beach resort or a hotel near Faro Airport, check out the wide offer available on Booking.com!

Faro is a beautiful place.
Faro is a beautiful place. Great food and drinks on the doorstep of Faro Hotel. Beaches 20 minutes drive away. Lots of shops to see and prices for food reasonable. Could do the whole of Faro in a day. Ubers are plentiful there. We took one to a beautiful beach where you get served on the beach. Not sure if there is enough to entertain children. But really lovely place.

What an amazing place to visit for a short break. There are so many things to do and see, including churches, museums, tiled streets and the cathedral in the old town. If I had stayed there longer, I would have visited the beaches and islands nearby.

The Rooftop was a brilliant place to be for resting and relaxing when you wanted to with soft back ground music..it was lovely been there at the bar or the restaurant where you had your breakfast or dinner or even where could have snacks if you felt abit peckish before dinner time or even go to the bar and have a drink or to you could also go up on the rooftop and watch the planes flying in and flying out from the airport and surrounded by historical buildings we would definitely come back again thanks to faro staff management 😀 😊 😄.

A nice town/city. Easy to get around, on foot or bus/car. Pedestrian friendly. Bus station where you catch the No.16 Bus to from the Airport. Railway Station next to the bus station. Plenty places to eat , drink, shops, the marina to take boat trips. The Old Town, is easy to negotiate on foot. Well worth the visit. We found the local people very friendly/helpful.

Great town with many places to visit.
Great town with many places to visit. The old Cathedra is a jewel. The museum is worth to spend some time there as well and the church tower offers great view on old town.
Faro is also the place where we experienced first time beautiful fado music. On June 12 we had an unforgettable night at Castelo restaurant. Thank you.
The hotel is in a great location! Close to the train station, marina, good food, and central excitement. I was truly impressed. The hotel bar and 5th floor dining was amazing. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a day of sunshine. The staff were very kind and helpful. After a day of travel, we also enjoyed the balcony in the room to just relax in private but still enjoy the outdoors. I will definitely be visiting Faro again and this hotel is where I will stay without a doubt. Thank you for a such a wonderful and memorable experience 😀.
The location is excellent: out of town but at the beach, close to beautiful walks in the Ria Formosa nature preserve. A certain 1950s charm to the hotel but, see below... More suitable for the warm days of summer, when you spend all of your time outdoors. Only five minutes from the airport by bus or taxi, but not too noisy, as not under the flight path of the aircraft.
The same bus takes you regularly into the town of Faro - and there is also a ferry into town, a 30 minute trip well worth taking, cheaper than the bus!
I only stayed at Ria formosa due to missing a flight.
What a find,i actually found myself glad I had missed the flight.
What a chilled last 24 hours to my portugal visit, one of the most beautiful relaxed venues with a perfect ambience.
The facilities were outstanding the views to die for and the staff relaxed and efficient. Paulo was a great representative of the hotel professional and helpful a credit to the place.
I will be revisiting but next time on my way in to chill and on my way out to chill.
Stayed here for 1 night upon arrival to Portugal at Faro airport. More of an Airbnb style accommodation, self check in, no staff. Our room was pleasantly large and updated. Bed (equivalent to a queen size) was very comfortable. Modern bathroom, smart TV, strong AC and very clean. The street got extremely lively at night with bars and restaurants but we could not notice in our room. Parked our rental car on the street with no problems. Perfect for what we needed
The apartment is right on the beach facing the ocean and the view is amazing. The location was just perfect.
It's extremely easy to access from the airport with the No 16 bus, dropping you off at the bridge of Praia de Faro, after that it's only a 5 mins walk to the apartment.
Catarina who manages the property is very contactable by what's app and is always at the end of the phone. She is amazing. Thanks Catarina for making our stay so perfect!
Turkish baths were excellent. Rooftop pool was lovely. Easily the nicest hotel in the area.
Bed was.comfortable and large. Amenities were great.
Breakfast was fantastic too. Choice of off the menu and the some buffet.
The staff were very nice and very helpful.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
If you're in Faro and looking for a little luxury definitely the right spot to go to.
Location, and the staff especially.
Plus the food /breakfast was lovely ----lots of choice..
However, the tea /coffee machines were at a minimum. Could do with installing a few more machines cos it's frustrating to have to queqe so long--whilst your breakfast is getting cold.
However, I would not hesitate to return to this fabulous hotel again, if I was returning to Portugal.
Excellent breakfast selection, both cooked and fresh fruit. Fantastic roof terrace with the best views in Faro, perfect for an afternoon sundowner watching the sunset. Really friendly staff, would recommend this hotel for couples, probably not ideally suited for children, very central location right next to the old town area.
Very close walking distance to Faro Rodoviario bus and train station. In the city center, close to everything. Small but comfortable for two people.Very clean modern, fresh nice sheets, new hotel. They do a good job to be environmentally aware and support conserve energy and water trend. Room had everything we needed.
Great beach-side hotel located on Faro beach, about 5 minutes from the airport. AC was cold and the hotel is right on the beach with beach towels and umbrella provided upon request. Roof-top offers great views of Faro beach and about a 10 minute walk from the ferry into Faro. Breakfast was quite nice.
If you’re looking to stay on the beach in Faro, this is the spot. Steps away from the beach with a great bar and restaurant. Best of all is the staff. From reception to wait staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but are clean and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel location isn’t best for getting to central Faro or beach but is only like 7minutes drive from airport which is nice. Breakfast was really good and all stuff were nice and helpful. It also has a gym and pool and free parking is just in front of the hotel.
The "boutique" hotel is very well situated in the centre of Faro, in the vicinity of historical sites. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, for additional fee is average. There is popular restaurant on the premises which we did not experience.
We were only staying one night in Faro after flying in from Stockholm and picking up a rental car the next day to explore southern Portugal. Our needs were simple and this hotel met them nicely. Not sure how it would have worked for a longer stay.
Really nice terrace with amazing view. Flat is cute and clean - with small bathroom and kitchen. It's really close to historical center of Faro. Owner was really helpful, thank you for such a nice welcome to Portugal!.
Every time I go to Portugal (once every 2 months) I stay at Hotel Faro. Since 2021. I absolutely love it and it turned into my home in Portugal.
All members of staff are adorable and extremely professional.
Clean modern hotel.Easy well lit,at 4a.m,flat walk straight into Faro Airport
Would have liked to have arrived earlier to take advantage of the pool.Definitely use again for an airport stopover
