Breakfast was great with good variety of food. The best Croissants I've had in quite a long time. Free parking is available. Hotel's location is very good only about 10 minutes to the heart of the City and Castle. btw: Estremoz is a very nice City, well kept and looking very well, worth the visit.

Staff is very nice and welcoming.

We stayed in the annex house (cross hill). During summer , you have advantage of enjoying views sitting on the little terrace outside the room.

The breakfast was very good...well layed out and good selection of choises to eat and drink...The waitress was helpful , but could have asked if we needed anything else...the room was well decorated and a would have been a lot cosier if it had been a bit warmer...

Vicki and Mitch are suburb hosts providing a delicious breakfast and onsite beverages for enjoying on the terrace in the evening. They also have yips and maps of things to do locally. Evoramonte is right between Evora and Estremoz. Its locations provides an open view (360º) allover alentejo, just amazing!
In Evoramonte you can find a very cosy place to stay (the Place) as well as some restaurants and gifts shops. You should try.

Nice place. Probematic are the opening times of the castle.
Nice place. Probematic are the opening times of the castle. You can walk round the battlements and enjoy the spectacular views. It is a pity that the church and all the chapels are closed and not open to the public.

Evora Monte is a very small village on top of a hill.
Evora Monte is a very small village on top of a hill. There are three local shops, a castle and an art gallery. There is also a bed and breakfast place, where you can have simple meals. The village is incredibly relaxing, but you can walk down to the bigger village for more restaurants and some commerce. The village is close by to many Alentejo attractions, including Évora, many vineyards, archaeological sites, etc. It is a very good place to be based and visit the rest of Alentejo.
