Great experience to stay in a train station ! And very convenient on top : free parking available, regular trains for Porto City Center (for 2 euros) : door to door it takes the same time than by car, and you avoid the challenge to park and to pay for it. Same train to visit Aveiro, a very nice city. 20 min walk to join the very big beach. The hosts very kind, great and supporting any question and request. The breakfast is amazing. The room and the shared spaces are comfortable and cosi. We recommend !

We wanted to visit places such as Porto and Aveiro but didn't want to stay in a city and Esmoriz is ideally placed for easy access to those cities. If you have children Esmoriz has a lovely sandy beach.
The apartment was comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for a family of 4 adults for a weeks stay - A well equipped kitchen, towels and beach mats and deck chairs etc. The large wraparound balcony with its stunning view was its highlight as it faced southwest- lovely sunsets. It is located in a nice corner of esmoriz in front of the beach and near bars and restaurants. The pool area was lovely- clean and well maintained.
I can recommend. Great location - 1 minute to Ocean, very good sand beach. Very friendly staff (no, VERY friendly!). Good and not so expensive cafeteria at hotel and many restaurants around. Clean room, fresh renovation. Very good for people that focus on a healthy lifestyle: good menu, small kitchen for your own food, yoga lessons, bicycles for rent and ocean...It was a good time, thank you very much.

Simon was a very nice and kind host and made sure everything was in order to fulfill our requests. The house is gorgeous, and well taken care of. The room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast was good. We even got a souvenir from the hosts!
Definitely coming back if we return to Esmoriz for a holiday!
Most lovely owner and staff. Always ready to help - booking activities or recommending things to do around the town of Esmoriz. They serve a delicious Breakfast and lunch&dinner at the bar are also very good. All we have to say is „obregado“ :-) see you soon hopefully!

We spent two weeks in Esmoriz, we could not have better place to stay - the hostel exceeded every expctation, highly recommended to any traveler with kid or without kid!
Everything. Enormous room, plenty of space, very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A good breakfast. Lovely pool, jacuzzi. A beach is a short drive away. Plenty of free public parking just in front of the hotel.

My son also loved the WIFI as it was fast although 5G also works iat the accomodation.
The owners were really really kind, the hotel had a really cozy vibe and clean itself. And the beach, where you can walk to in just a few minutes, was probably the most beautiful one I’ve been to in Portugal!
La Fontaine is a great option for anyone staying at Esmoriz. Good location, very clean rooms and good breafast. I´ll certainly stay in the hotel again!
