Its a really superb place to spend two days lazing around. The spa is great, the restaurant and wine experience is great, they have 2 pools and the rooms are in the middle.of the wineyards so lots of walks possible. It's lush, green and a great way to spend time relaxing

The property was very nicely located close to the heritage bridge and river. The room we had number 7 was very comfortable and cute. The room had a balcony with a view of the river and the old convent. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay in Amarante. The breakfast was very nice and the staff at the restaurant where the breakfast was served were wonderful.

A hidden gem. Wonderful accommodation in a mansion that looks like an old palace. The feeling is like being a guest on the set of a movie where you play the royal couple.
