The building was wonderful and modern, and restored and renovated with its character intact. Different views from many angles, close enough to town, yet removed for a pastoral stay. Room had all the amenities, but they did not replace the coffee pouches except once during my 5 days. Pasteis de Nata was the best I had on the islands. Bottled fizzy water was a nice touch. Good fresh cut fruit and figs. I appreciated that I could take my breakfast to my room without any fuss. Homemade cookies and celebratory cupcakes on April 25 were a very nice touch!

I'm a bit bias since i was born in Cinco Ribeiras and was visiting my old home. The island has very limited beached, but it has great spots to swim, Cinco Ribeiras has one of the best places to swim and enjoy the ocean. Cinco Ribeiras is in the country side, so there isn't much to do, other then swim, but you're only 10 minutes from the city and you will drive through quite nice fregsias on the way there.
