We stayed in the apartment with 2 friends which had a central entrance door and two additional doors into the two apartments so that you had your privacy. Both apartments are very roomy with good features such as a kitchenette and outside Terrace overlooking the sea.

We stayed at an apartment, it was nice and close to the golfcourse, No breakfast included. There were some issues with banging noise for two of the three nights... they fixed it before the last night

The beds were nice and had a curtain and safe inside, there was a lot of space for your stuff and a big bathroom in the dorm. The staff was super chill, joined with the activities (like karaoke night) and there was a nice restaurant with great food next to the hostel!

If you are looking for a secluded,quiet, holiday with nothing but the beach, and a golf course, then this is perfect, but there were no bars, cafes, shops,chemist, taxi rank or local bus service, so without a car you are pretty much stranded. The resort was very large, but a lot of the apartments and beautiful villas were locked up and empty, we hardly saw a soul in the week spent there, 15 minutes drive to the nearest town or an hour and half walking, if you want blisters! Visit Ferrel and Baleal for a laid back surf vibe,
If you want supplies then it’s Serra del Rey or Peniche,

The Beachfront is exactly what it sets out to be. Very comfortable accommodation within steps of a great beach. Need a car as even the facilities of Marriott Hotel are quite a long walk. However, if you want good quality, spacious and well equipped accommodation with good views, a seafood restaurant and a small shop on site, its perfect. Less than 50miles from Lisbon, Obidos only a few miles away. Great place to wind down. I will likely return

You need a car.
You need a car. The area is stunningly beautiful with miles of white sandy beaches. Some days the surf is too fierce for sea swimming but Obidos Lagoon provides a safe and calm place to keep cool.
My son is a manual wheelchair user so the cobbled pavements were a little hard work but not un-manageable. We were only there for one week but would like to do a longer trip and review/report on accessible beaches. We went to the lagoon and carried him to the water - luckily we could do that between us.
A couple of us walked on the beach from Praia Del Rey to Obidos Lagoon and had a nice meal at Rio Cortico Lagoa - nice fresh caught fish of the day :)
Taxi's were great and locals are really friendly and helpful.

An incredible hotel! Friendly staff, cleanliness, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, next to the ocean, very nice area, rich and varied breakfast, special thanks to Marianne and Elizabeth from the reception for a nice birthday gift from the hotel! I definitely recommend it for complete relaxation, high service and a walk by the ocean. Thank you, we will definitely come back!
Everything! From the friendliness of the staff to the renovation of the interior pool and its facilities (my kids loved too), the variety at breakfast, the kids club where the youngest kids spend a lot of time. It’s a hotel that we have been several times, both in winter and in summer and it is always a pleasure to stay. And also checking on the improvements each time.
The hotel was as described and well represented. The property was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The waves were too strong for a swim but the view of the sea was amazing. Good food and service at the restaurant on-site although a little pricey. A very nice stay.
We loved our stay at the resort, the views from the ocean view rooms were stunning! Loved waking up to the ocean. The beds were super comfortable, everything was nicely decorated and loved the large bathtub. The staff were so friendly too at the hotel.
Staff were amazing and unrelentingly helpful across the board. It was one of the best hotel/resort experiences I've had. Room, breakfast, buffet dinners, bar and service were outstanding. Having the beach a few steps away was fantastic.
We loved our stay! We loved having access to the beach and the pool, and felt there were multiple options for food and drink throughout our stay. Breakfast was fabulous and all hotel staff was very kind and accommodating.
sometimes it is enough to have one stuff person who is taking care of you and is making your experience in the hotel to be perfect. This time it was Catherine who made everything perfect.
