Room was of adequate size with storage space as required. Shower was in bath and, as you get older, stepping in and out can get problematic. Very nice breakfast spread put on both days with lots of food but not much variety of items. As always, orange juice was concentrated and watered down which, in Spain the home of oranges, always amazes me!

Beds are great for tall people. I stayed there over the weekend just to enjoy the city, its in a really location, nice bars and restaurants around you.
The cinema room and library up the top are amazing, really recommended to head up there.
The kitchen is nice for cooking, and a good place to meet others from the hostel.

The room was nicely designed, modern, clean and spacious with plenty of plugs (also right besides the beds) and a large TV.
The breakfast was simply outstanding! The best one I ever had in Portugal with an extensive buffet with quality food and a lot of variation throughout our 5-night stay.
The 24-hour-reception works perfectly with actual reception staff present all the time - this was important for us as we arrived with a late flight and also arrived late at night on the days we visited the Primavera Sound festival.
From the nearby Casa da Musica you can reach the old town of Porto by metro within a few minutes. There are also several buses that go directly to the Parque da Cidade (driving time app. 30 minutes) where the Primavera Sound festival takes place. The hotel is perfectly located between the two spots and was therefore a great choice for our stay! :)
