The facility is beautiful but about 5 km away from the coast (Rota Vicentina). Our request to find the house heated was ignored. In addition, the girl who greeted us was unfriendly, very hasty and hurried.

Amieira Agroturismo is a lovely place located in a beautiful area. The house is beautifully renovated, furnished and decorated with care and detail, with local furniture and decorations, maintaining the spirit of local heritage. The breakfast is simple but tasty and of quality, including local produce (we had delicious bread, honey, homemade jams), and the staff was always lovely and attentive. The atmosphere at the place is relaxed and homely, inviting friendly interaction between guests. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and extremely peaceful. An experience we will try to repeat and will surely recommend.

This is rural Portugal, it is tranquil and a great base for wildlife watching. Surrounded by countryside and wildflower meadows and a fantastic wild coastline. It is difficult to get around without your own transport but we had a hire car and drove down the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and stopped at small coves and beaches. Further down has great surfing beaches
