Bar was closes at 21h30 no meals AT all were available. Bar Walter was rude and close the bar during our check in. The FO gilrl was sorry about the attitude of the colleague of the bar.

The hotel is spotless! Very comfortable room with A/C, flowers, chocolates (!), TV with a lot of movie channels. 2 very clean bathrooms for 6 rooms. Clare was lovely! ...Very welcoming. Fantastic location. I could see the monastery from my window! Great value.

The property is an artistic heaven, with a personalised room house, with an ambience music and scents everywhere. Great host, answering to all your needs, ready to prepare your breakfast, to recommend you restaurants and things to absolutely see in the area.
We really enjoyed the quiet countryside, where you can reconnect with nature, get energised for the agitated Lisbon and just take your time to enjoy it. You need a car to reach the property.

Ataíja de Baixo is a tiny village and exceptionally quiet right now, although I expect there'd be some life to see in a normal summer. The reason for coming here was the location amongst all the nearby attractions, which include nature (beach, mountains, geology, wildlife); history and culture; culinary (it's a great place for local food and wine!)
