Olga came into the town to collect us and Stephen brought us to collect some takeaway that evening. They couldn't have been more accommodating. We were tired after a long Camino day and their house and hospitality was just what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The tiny bar in the village was a local gem. Breakfast was a sight to behold and the best of our 7 day trip. Everything provided was local and/or homemade, even cookies! We were spoilt and set up for our day of walking. Olga then dropped us back to the route and off we went. Lovely couple.

The property and surroundings was magical. Serene natural beauty. The cottage was perfect for our family of three. My son loved swimming in the river. Overall a 10/10 experience. Something completely different compared to the rest of the country.

A lovely little village in very scenic surroundings and so close lots of other towns (We love Penela and Tomar, both not far to get to) and lovely attractions in this area (We especially love the Zezere and the river beaches). Worth a visit.

Bit light on dinner options but the Cafe we dined at was good. Its the one under the Albergue. The lunch buffet at the patisserie is worth checking out, shame they dont do dinner! There a good bar at the bottom of town opposite the Pharmacy.
