Albernoa is a very small town but surrounded by beautiful countryside. I stayed in the most beautiful Herdade of Malhadinha Nova.
One night we ate in the town and the food was absolutely delicious - real authentic food from Alentejo

The nature surrounding the hotels are very beatiful. Our hotel room was delicately furnished, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The country house, where we stayed, was in general nice and had a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was really good, especially the desserts.
The hotel is new, so everything is in perfect condition. Staff are very friendly, though just 1 person waiting the tables for dinner, so service was a little slow. Pool looked great - didn't swim because lack of time, but the sun setting and the peace and calm in the evening was very relaxing.
There's a lot of activities in the hotel - kayaks, paddle boarding, sauna, walks, etc.

It was very quiet when we were there (between Christmas and new year) and really peaceful, great for a relaxing break in the nature.
Everything! The staff are superb, the horse riding and lessons exceptional. The food was fabulous, breakfast the best I’ve had in a very long time. The mixture of the working vinyard and the hotel is a dream, lending an authenticity to the holiday experience.
