The pool area is good - several pools with different temperatures, the area is big enough for everyone to get a sun bed, there are enough towels to borrow etc. The place was overall clean, and is well located. If you have a car you can easily explore the south-east coast.

Manager worked with us to get us the keys. The condo was in a prime location and you could hear the waves all night. Very beautiful and relaxing. Everything in the condo was laid out and prepped to minimize stress. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved everything about this location. It was secluded and at the top of the mountain. We had our own pool with a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean. We could also see the neighboring island. Tomas was wonderful and provided so much information. We didn't need a tour guide! He told us the best and closest beaches to go to and the best places to visit in San Juan. The room had everything we needed to cook our own meals to save on money. His property had beautiful trails we visited almost daily, exploring nature. Best of all, we got out own painting lesson. It was such a beautiful and relaxing trip, that we are already planning to come back soon. If you want to be in San Juan with the large crowds and be around tons of people constantly, this place would not be the best choice. If you want a relaxing and scenic place to stay, while being able to drive around the island, this is the place for you! Every night you could hear the animals and occasional rain and it would put me right to sleep. After getting home, it was oddly quiet without those beautiful nature sounds. It took us about 45 min to 1 hour to get into San Juan. There is a Walmart and nice shopping area within 15 minutes of this location. The driveway is a little intimidating at first, but I quickly got used to it. Overall, I would totally recommend this for any nature lover looking to enjoy a piece of paradise.

If you are looking for a greta beach, Puerto Rico offers better…but Palmas del Mar is INCREDIBLE!! There are so many things to do that you will never regret your stay! The places to eat are very good and there is a lot of variety.

Very nice area and super safe and very nice people. Explore the towns and beaches. The Monkey Island Kayak was great. The little towns you find are great. If you are looking for a nice family trip, this is good, but you must do the leg work to find what to do in that area.

Humucao is a beautiful town with incredible views to the ocean. We stayed in Palmas Del Mar and it was heaven. There are a number of great, locally owned restaurants and chain stores are easy to get to with a rental car. We'll be back!

If you read, you're find it's history. It isn't far from the rain forest and Liquillo beach. Next town north Naguabo has great sea food restaurants. Naguabo (were the water meets land.) But there are lots of restaurants in Palmas del Mar .

Did not like it. Staffing at front desk was not accommodating. It would have been lovely to know at check in that we need to turn back in the bathroom towels and wash rags each day to relieve new ones if we ran out. It took hours to get and help and we were constantly left without reliable transportation from the hotel when with plans made. This was by far the WORST place I've stayed in all my years of travel.

I stayed at Palmas Del Mar 10 years ago and it wasn’t completed so we had a good time on the beach and pools. Now Palmas Del Mar is too full of gated communities with very limited beach access and the pools are available 9a-6p, so i do not recommend Palmas Del Mar. the places are asking top dollar and the roof tops are still missing tiles from the storm. I was disappointed by the views of the community. Do your research and stay somewhere nicer for the money you would spend at Palmas.

A lady who seemed to be a supervisor of room maids that went over and above her duty to provide us with coffee for room coffee maker and ice.
An intern, student of hotel management, offered to help us after overhearing the request we made of the bartender, and was able to find one clean towel (we needed two) and swiftly brought it over.
The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, clean premises, towels/bed sheets/ambiance smelled clean, soft sheets and comfy bed. Host was very helpful and available for contact, the check in was easy and quick with the door code provided. I will definitely stay again whenever visiting the Humacao area.
The studio apartment was quite large and included a washer/dryer and full kitchen. It had 2 bathrooms, so 2 people would have access to separate bathrooms. The location w/in the Palmas del Mar complex was excellent, as the Palmanova Plaza was nearby with a small market and a couple of places to eat.
The location was quiet and relaxing. Steps away from the pool, the beach, and the hotel facilities. The property had just about everything anyone could need; A/C, washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The property manager was extremely responsive when I had questions.
The location was great for those wanting privacy! It's a long drive to San Juan where the action is. There is English speaking staff at front desk 24/7. The ocean is nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and extended our stay while there.
Everything was perfect!!! The house was very clean, nice decoration. Perfect location. In front of the pool!! So close to the hotel, perfect for eating! The owner, Carlos was amazingly helpful! I will definitely stay there in the future!

This place was great. It was a combination of multiple things that we want when we are taking vacations: great location, the Villa was excellent, the restaurants, the privacy and peace, the service from the villa owner.
