It has quite a few interesting monuments and varied attractions - from museums and a botanical garden to old town square and vineyards.
Almost everything is in walking distance (if you stay in the town) and if you rent a bike you can reach everything.

Great location, small family hotel with excellent service. Rich breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Only quality ingredients, fresh. Clean and modern rooms and fast internet TV with Netfilix. Guarded parking at the hotel and beautiful nature around the hotel. I travel a lot and travel in 17 countries. This hotel is an absolute TOP for me. If you want to know the best, you must visit this hotel.

Very friendly people, and really nice views make this city worth spending time to recharge your batteries. It's not too big, so all places are easily accessible even on foot. The prices are just right with some places, like the Palmiarnia Restaurant surprisingly cheap for the type of service they offer.

Pretty city, newly restored and improved with European funds. It has a big pedestrian area (one of the biggest in Poland), interesting sights and landmarks, and modern facilities.
As a downside, very few people speak English and communication is not easy with locals. Also I found people to be kind of hostile towards foreigners, especially if of a different ethnicity.
I don't recommend for those seeking a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

My visit was specifically for parkrun behind the Sports...
My visit was specifically for parkrun behind the Sports Center, where I met up with a number of friends all visiting from the UK. Most of us dined at Pizzaria La Gondola, who looked after us well, and several of us went to the water park at MOSIR Sport & Recreation Centre, which was great. Some stayed another night, unfortunately I had a train to catch to Poznan.
Friendly and polite welcome even though I'd used the restaurant door rather than that to reception. I was given room 14, a comfortable L shaped large room at the front of the hotel. I slept very well despite the muffed sound of the street and nearby railway station. Evening meal in the restaurant had generous portions and was very well priced. Breakfast had a good range of options to start the day. Well situated for travellers opposite the Zielona Gora railway station.
I know a couple of hotels in town but this one is the best to stay. The location is very close to the highway and with the new ring road you can quickly reach any point in town. The garden and scenary is fantastic and absolutely quit and night. Good for a perfect rest.
For non-vegetarians it is a quite impressive breakfast buffet, for vegans I would love to see more options.
This place was cleaner than most hotels, and had all the amenities you could possibly want from an apartment. Bathroom was spotless, as was the kitchen which was equipped with all utensils and even some free food. The living room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and as with everything else clean. The instructions for checking in were clear and easy.
Blu Hotelik is a wonderful place to stay at. There is nothing you would not like. It is located away from a city center and all the noise and crowds. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious hot and cold dishes. Staff are very professional and friendly. I have stayed here before and am looking forward to next time.
I was very lucky to have stayed at this property and see Zielona Gora. I enjoyed the city and property so much that I am certain I will book another stay here in the future. The hosts were very nice at check out. The studio was beautiful and extremely clean. You can see the owners take great pride in their property.
Excellent location,in a centre of ZG.Easy access to collect the key.Bed was very comfortable and had hotel quality mattress and sheets hence I had a really good,sleep,room was bright and airy!Bonus was the washing machine!I already booked another stay :)
