The apartment is very central located in Wielen, but in a quiet street without any traffic noise.
The apartment was brand new, and very clean, nice and comfortable. Well equipped, and with TV and internet.
The host met me on arrival. A very nice and gentle and service minded man.

We really loved it. It was quiet and serene and very picturesque location. We loved going for boat rides at the lake each day. The staff was always very helpful and friendly.
Offering a garden and river view, Gutshof Dragefeld is set in Krzyż, 39 km from Drawa National Park and 47 km from Stadium Miedzychod. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking.
Nice village.
Grate location, if You are planning to visit Drawieński Park Narodowy AND some other locations in the south (like Puszcza Notecka).
If You are gunning for only Drawieński Park Narodowy, then You may consider something closer, but it's still close enough if You want to split Your attention.
Village as every in Poland. Quiet (except for a few drunks), lovely (except for some asbesto-clad ruins), with population decreasing with every year.
Do not hope for good food, nor fancy restaurants, the best You can get is Kebab and severely overpriced ice cream.
But there is still some beauty under the decay. Birds are everywhere and they sing beautifully (good chance of cuckoos). You cannot get lost in a place with two real streets, so no need to worry while exploring. Most of the place got cleaned up (by EU money - many signs will inform You of that), so ruins are getting rare.
Summing up: good place for a base, but do not spend too much time in Wieleń - go to surrounding forests and parks.
