(1) Our beds were comfortable. And our bedroom was a generous size. It had a good sized en suite. Everything was clean. We appreciated having a kettle and fridge in our room.
(2) The hotel was on the edge of the park which made for a lovely walk into the town center. Visiting when the trees are in leaf is highly recommended so you can enjoy the formal park and the walk past the large ponds and lake in the other direction.
(3) There was plenty of choice at breakfast which was buffet style.
(4) The food in the restaurant was freshly cooked and the menu offered a good choice. And, I can recommend the local beer in the bottles with the green label - the bottled version is better tasting than the same beer freshly pulled.
Note: if memory serves, the hotel disco finished promptly at 22:00, as did a loud private party.
