Location was perfect for Luban centre. Paid parking out front, but free parking just down street to the left (one way).
Breakfast was lovely, and lots of it. Had an evening meal one night and the food was superb! Not many other eating/bar choices nearby, so that was good. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with.

Everything was nice and comfortable; the communication with owner was fine; the facilities were excellent; the house is beautiful. Special thanks to Pani Anita who came earlier to prepare a breakfast for us; the breakfast was excellent as well as all the rest!

The B&B was easy to find and has good road access. Despite this, it has a very quiet and secluded location. There was practically no traffic noise at all. Check-in was preferably carried out in German and the bill had to be paid straight away. (I had expected that and had a corresponding amount of zloty with me.) The landlords were very friendly and helpful. The room was very pleasant and adequately equipped. The TV program even offered Czech channels. The Wi-Fi was so good that we were able to cope with certain limitations. Breakfast included warm rolls and delicious scrambled eggs. In general it was completely sufficient.

Love the overall atmosphere in the castle and great location. Food was amazing. We stayed in 'Travellers room' which gave that extra castle experience and beautiful views. Great tours - we went on night tour and one revealing war secrets. Definitely recommend and hope to be back again.

This is one of those places I could happily imagine myself moving to. Hotel and tourism staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Two was small. but had so much history. New discoveries around every corner and were pointed to many by wonderful tourist info and museum staff.
Only hiccup was finding vegetarian sit-in sandwiches or meals, with coffee.
Had to make do with sit-in cake and pastry shops for lunches. There was no shortage of outlets for sweet treats.
Big issue is that my middle just kept spreading!
Spend days walking round the town and take some trips into the countryside.
Be wary of just turning up at attractions. Many need booking and many of the castles in SIlesia are actually hotels where you need a minimum number to get a tour of the tourist areas.

We went to Lubań for a doctor's appointment. Since we were coming from Germany, we didn't want to be rushed. We were surprised that there was no Christmas Market. The people were very friendly and helpful! There just isn't a lot to see or do there. We felt that one more day would be a strain, but that was because of the freezing room at night in the hotel. There are a few things outside of Lubań that are not far away that could be seen. It was drizzling the day we left, so we didn't explore any further afield. I simply saw them in the internet.
