Very luxurious feel right in the centre of Chełm. The apartment was in a preserved historic building with a lot of charm. The apartment itself has been renovated and was very modern and clean. The view from the balcony of the Chełm market square was gorgeous.
Location was excellent, we were able to walk nearly everywhere we needed. Hosts were fantastic, very friendly and came to help us with the washing machine even on a Sunday afternoon. Couldn't recommend more!

It is surprising that a city of only 64k has a museum with 3 buildings. One should start with the museum to get the background about this city, then tour the old town and the magnificent church on the top of the hill.

chalk underground museum is a must attraction. We loved our stay.
The ease of travel by train from Warsaw, and proximity to the renaissance town of Zamosc is also a plus.

Chełm is a very quiet and beautiful city.
Chełm is a very quiet and beautiful city. All the houses there look quite old, so you can enjoy the architecture everywhere as there are no modern multi-storey blocks of flats. It gives the feeling of space, which you lack in larger noisy cities. Everything is in the walking distance. What surprised me most was that all the shops close at 5-6 pm. My first impression of Chełm is that this city is for rest not for noisy entertainment.

Chełm is worth a quick trip for the incredible chalk tunnels and a walk around the old town and up to the Basilica Hill. The ethnographic/archeological portion of Muzeum Ziemi Chełskiej was also very much worth a 30 minute visit. The surrounding city is kind of drab and not super pleasant for biking or walking. Not a lot of food options, but we enjoyed Boska Włoska Italian restaurant/bar. So to be honest, I would probably visit Chełm as a 1/2 day trip from Lublin or Zamość rather than staying overnight. Lastly, I'll mention Chełm is on the long distance bike path called Green Velo, which itself is really cool- check it out!

terrible hotel. My wife was treated like a prostitute by other customers at the hotel and no one intervened. Extremely unsafe hotel. Alcoholics sit in front of the hotel's door all day and you enter the hotel with anxiety when entering and leaving. I got a 1 night stay, but after 3 hours I left this terrible hotel with my wife. I definitely do not recommend. especially if you have a girlfriend with you, do not even pass through the door of this hotel.
I recently stayed at a hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming reception staff. Their friendly demeanor and helpful attitude made my check-in process smooth and enjoyable. Very nice place, well located to che city center and Chełm Miasto train station. Confortable, with many possibilities, for bowling, billiard (pool), restaurant with breakfast with a huge tasty assortment. In the room it was super clean with all facilities for a full confort. Very fancy view to the city part is also a worth.
The hotel was ideally situated, parking was in abundance and the exterior of the building was great. Restaurant and bar on site and the breakfast options were amazing. Every member of the team we encountered were polite, helpful and outgoing. We would highly recommend a stay in this hotel.
I booked two rooms in this hotel, for one and for two. Everything was great, as convenient as possible, shops are very close. Also, the house was clean, the kitchen was very convenient. In fact, the house turned out to be even better than in the photo.
The valuable hotel for Ukraine travelers through Jagodun point. We like the breakfast and the fact of the kettle exist in the room. The room is just what you need for one night. The parking big enough to find a spot.

It's quite good point to stop and have a rest. I liked that this place offers free parking. Breakfast was usual for this kind of hotels - some food on the table and pre-ordered set (I got hot sausages). It's ok.
I had a nice, small, clean room, where I had a good rest. Nice view from the window. Stayed for 1 night and the hotel met all my requirements. Also had breakfast.
Very good hotel close to the train station. City centre was 20 min walking distance but there are regular busses. Restaurant downstairs served very nice food.
