Panglao has everything to offer - ease of access just 15 minutes from airport and you are on Alona beach. You have several beaches to choose from if quiet is what you need and be away from the action of Alona. There are also so many nature/adventure / cultural and historical tours to choose from that is a day tour away. Tricycles and private cars/vans are readily available. Lots of great food choices as well. Go for freshly grilled seafood!!

We arrived at Panglao airport and looked for a tricycle to take us to our hotel. Our driver offered to take us on tours with his tricycle so we made arrangements with him. Day 1: country side tour (loboc river cruise, chocolate hills, tarsiers, butterfly garden). Day 2: he connected us with a group to go island hopping with (dolfin watching, snorkeling, virgin island). Day 3: Panglao island tour (we only chose to go to two places - the cave and the bee farm). We noticed that not a lot of people went round to these tourist spots using tricycles like we did; almost everyone went with vans. We just opted for the tricycle because it was cheaper, and not being a group meant we had more freedom to decide how much time we wanted to spend at each place.

I liked the vibe of Alona Beach, but it doesn't compare to Boracay. Island hopping excursions looked like they would be fun, but we opted out and just relaxed. Diving was great! Our research showed that the whaleshark tour offered to Oslob was not ethical in the treatment of the whalesharks so we did not do it.

Panglao is very nice, your camera will love it here!! I will be going back. If you like to dive, this is paradise. there is also, sandy beaches, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, skin diving... all the sea sports are here. Great Trip!

Unfortunately we were not able to explore Panglao island . Because of transportation. The hotel was walking distance from the beach, but not sea view as hotel description . There are good hotel along beach area.
A little slice of paradise!
This little exclusive gem is perfect for a couples getaway. Super romantic resort with very friendly staff. The staff and the fact that it's small (8 rooms) makes you feel at home immediately.
We got help from the staff to arrange exclusive tours of Bohol, island hopping, and renting scooters, it was super easy, with much less hassle than the people selling trips on the street, and at a much fairer price.
So in total: the resort is great, but what makes it shine is the staff!
We spent 3D/3N at the apartelle. During our stay, we have had the best experience - from the respectful staff accomodating our needs to clean & comfortable room.
My friends and I managed to use the pool without any hassle. It's neat and relaxing. The place itself made our Bohol trip worthwhile.
Its proximity to airport and Alona is another plus one. 100% would recommend staying here if you wish to have an amazing and peaceful experiece like us.
I booked this place for my friend who visited Bohol because I've always had an amazing experience with Natura Vista. My friend wasn't disappointed. As always the room was very clean, breakfast was lovely with wide variety of options, the staff super friendly, he enjoyed the whirlpool, the sunset on the beach, the cave..all for an affordable price. He sent me breath-taking photos. I will recommended more friends here!
Love our stay! Ambiance, amenities, staff, and food. Amazing! We will definitely recommend it to our families and friends who will go to Bohol. It is situated around 8 mins walk to the beach but they have a free shuttle every hour and the driver is always on time! The staff is always smiling and very approachable. The room and the place itself are clean and smell nice. The pool is of great depth. Breakfast is lit!
The host Justin is truly an epitome of hospitality. From picking us up at the port to arranging bikes, amazing breakfast, great sightseeing suggestions ( hidden spots) to dropping us back and basically catering to all our requests, our stay at Gloria’s Inn was truly phenomenal and memorable thanks to him. Cannot recommend this place more if you are in Bohol and looking for a tranquil getaway.
This was the best place we stayed in Philippines. Our host Rebecca was so kind and lovely helping us to learn about Bohol and book activities. The rooms were cleaned beautifully everyday and the apartment was huge and spacious and really comfortable. 10/10 Imagine deserves every bit of positivity for such a fantastic offering. I had an incredible stay at this villa in Bohol, Philippines! The apartment was spotless, conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, a vegetarian restaurant, and a spa. The warmth of the Korean couple hosting made it feel like family, and their adorable dog, Toto, added extra charm. Highly recommend for a delightful and cozy retreat!
Nora's Place exceeded all expectations! The common areas and pool were cleaned every morning and there is a great warm and inviting atmosphere from the entire staff. Chris, Nora and their staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable! They were a great source of information for where to go and what to see while we were on Bohol.
Beautiful stretch of beach, lauded even by locals to be the best in Panglao, Bohol. Excellent staff- Honey, Gluvey at the reception, Gemil and Johnjette at the Bar, and many others, every single staff we encountered in this resort was very warm and up to the task. Good, reasonably priced food and booze at the restaurant/bar.
It is our first time in Panglao kaya we have no idea where to stay until my former colleague recommended this hotel. They stayed here daw before and one of the cheapest rate daw. We gave it a try and indeed, it is a must try. So happy naman kami sa option na to. ok ang amenties and facilities.
Feels like home. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet and refreshing. They have complimentary water and it is refillable at the reception. Also, they offer motorbikes for rent because the fare in Bohol are very pricey. It is convenient if you can drive a motorcycle and roam around the area.
Staff, room, swimming pool, landscaping, peace, restaurant were just marvelouse. location was not in walking distance to the beach or good grocery stores but they provided rides from and to the hotel anytime we wished. I definitely consider going back if I come back to Panglao.
Very good service, the staff is always here to help the food is exquisite, the massages were good, we took a private island hopping tour with them, it was really good.

On top of the mountain with the view of the Tagbilaran strait which separates Tagbilaran and Panglao Island while having your own big balcony with a couple of swings. Very relaxing. A great location to be away. The view is their main selling point.
It's 400 metres from the beach,the owner is very nice and she loves to talk ,she also my friend.I keep coming back every time I'm in Bohol and it's a very good atmosphere.....I highly recommend haha cheers
