The resort looks to be in the middle of the jungle, because there is a main way between palms and nature until to get the bamboo pier to stay and see the sea, the sunset, the sky and have relax moments. The rooms are comfortable, big bed and bamboo terrace and nice views of the sea. The cuisine was delicious and the staff so pleasant. The resort has dive center and massage spa corner ;) The location is near restaurants and activities.

The owner is such a lovely person.she even did our beds every day 🥰
The room was the cleanest room we had in Philippines, very comfortable with AC.
Be careful, there is no GSM signal in this area so you can't contact the owner with a call or text. You should use booking app or any internet related communication because there is wifi.
We were sad to not be able to say goodbye to her as we needed to leave early. Thank you very much for your welcome.

This is a great place to jump off and explore the island and several offshore islands for snorkeling. We went to White Island, and also to Mantigue in the south. We basically went around the whole island on the Circumfirencial hwy. Snorkeled at the sunken cemetery and also at Cabuan community. The giant climbs area is closed due to government regulations trying to implement very high taxes on the owner. We were able to snorkel just to the right of the clam sanctuary property. Water is kind of rough there so be careful, water shoes are highly recommended. Visited two different waterfalls. Nice changing rooms and very refreshing water. Really like the beehive restaurant. Would be a great place to enjoy the sunset from but we just had ice cream and some cookies. All delicious. we ate three times at Tambayan se Kanto, aka the tuna restaurant. Also ate at 18seafood. Our favorite items are Kinilaw and tuna sisig. Checked out Arden Hot Springs. They’re basically only warm springs these days, but it still was nice. If you need cash converted you have to go to Palawan pawnshop. Seems to be the only game in town all over the island. The local white room Tanguay is quite delicious when you mix it with Mango juice. Leave yourself extra cash if you bought additional baggage because the system is often down at the Kameen airport and won’t take credit cards. We were basically caught with our pants down and not enough cash. Quite stressful!

Mambajao is like Cebu 30 years ago - air was crisp and cool. We enjoyed riding tricycles like locals do. You will notice residents know each other. Checkpoint eatery on the ground floor offered toron cooking lessons. They have a department store (Gaiaano) that is pretty much have the basic things that locals need and they’re inexpensive.
We saw how blacksmiths made their bolos. It’s a very real experience of handmade products! And locals buy them. We ate at Tambayan sa Kanto (next to the pier of Mambajao). It is not air conditioned because it wasn’t needed. Again, just fresh air. Fresh cooked tuna at a reasonable price. We also visited their wide and clean elementary schools for my kids to see.

I like the viewpoint in the town center near the govt.
I like the viewpoint in the town center near the govt. office (DILG?) and the beautiful and historic church of San Nicolas de Tolentino with its stained glass windows and the mural paintings in its ceiling. The altar too is something you will appreciate that reminds you of some church altars in Europe. You must visit the side altar on your left hand corner as you enter the church. Here you will see the old baptismal font which I guess is still being used these days.
You should also try their traditional dish called Surol (?) and their salad made of banana heart with coconut milk. Also their suman Balanghoy. I would like to visit this island again in October. I was told October is their lansones season. So, let's go!

Take a trike for 10-35pesos one way around Mambajao.
Take a trike for 10-35pesos one way around Mambajao. Stay within the area of Mambajao for Mantigue Island (San Roque Port, Mahinog) and White Beach (Yumbing). No need to take an arranged tour for these 2 islands. To get to the waterfalls and the mountain, it is safe to rent a scotter with a driver (800-1000pesos for 2 passengers) for a day. Haggle! Stay in Yumbing or Agoho. Grill your own seafoods. Bring your own snacks. Kurma for breakfast. Hang-o-beer for a beer or 10. Local eateries (turo-turo) for lunch (not at the overpriced restos nor at the Check Point). Walk the 5km distance of wherever you go. Avoid: Old Church Ruins, Katunggan Park and Sunken Cemetery.

Camiguin is a great place to get away from the city and relax. There is also plenty to keep the more adventurous busy, with the island full of decent snorkeling sites, waterfalls, hot / cold springs, volcanos amongst other activities. There are a few decent restaurants if you can search them out.
The property is really nice, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed. Great, quiet A/C, comfy bed, very LARGE bathroom with great hot water.
The owner Marisol is such a sweet and helpful lady who knows the island, where to go and what to do and see.
And she can get a scooter for you cheaper than other places.
You will need one on Camiguin.
Her sons are nice and the shepherd, Athena, is just as friendly as everyone. You can play with her until she wears you out!
It's a very nice comfortable place to stay.
The apartment is very comfortable and clean, delicious food in the restaurant. There is the steps to the sea, where it is possible to swim (good snorkeling, but there is not a beach). Good location near the White Island (one of the best beach in these place) - around 5 minutes by motorbike to the boat peers. . Helpful stuff and very kind hotel's owner. Motorbike for rent with helmets is available. They even find a helmet for our daughter 4 y.o.
Wifi poor connection....for our entire stay we used a mobile data connection....
Location is ideal and very near to White island, restobars...
No toilet bidet...
No problem with car parking, i usually park outside the premise....
They allow early check in if the room is ready....
We arrived at noon and able to check in around 1pm....
I recommend this place for budget travellers....
Shared kitchen and free hot/cold water dispenser...
I decided to have another break in this peaceful corner of the island. Situated in the middle of a tropical rain forest with a view to the Pacific Ocean it was a dream experience for me. It is a luxurious boutique hotel and at the same time rustic and authentic, exactly what I am after when traveling. The staff was very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this piece of heaven to anyone who travels to Camiguin.
This was a good place to stay. We rented 4 rooms to sleep 12 people total. The rate was very good for this many people. The food was good, AC worked well relative to other places in Philippines, staff was helpful, shower water was always hot, beds were more comfortable than the 4 star hotel we stayed at prior to coming to Camiguin. Great location for a starting point to your day on the island.
Excellent accommodations in Camiguin, even if a bit far from the center and unpaved roads lead to the property. But the friendly owner and the generally relaxed vibes of the place were fantastic. Lovely, the owner, was quite accommodating and helped us buy our dinners since the restaurants were a bit of a distance from the hotel. Perfect for people just looking to enjoy some peace and quiet.
The most beautiful hotel we stayed in in the Phillipines. Beautiful room with amazing view. Staff is very kind and always willing to help. Room is spacious and modern. Make sure you experience a sunset here :) we were sad we couldn’t stay a couple of more nights. Location is good for quite some of the island highlights
Excellent value for money and the staff are super warm and friendly. You are right on the beach (swimmable at certain times) and our room had direct pool access whilst the beach had a direct view of white island. If you are looking for a wonderful budget hotel then this is it. I would stay here again.
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Nanay Elsa even gave us a tour at the mini hotspring (size of a bath tub) just a few meters down the resort by the shore. And the view was really good! Overall the experience was beyond great! Will definitely stay here again when we visit Camiguin!
The hotel room was super clean. We slep like i child in the comfortable bed. Food was excellent, and we had pork chops that was from heaven. I cannot recommend the place more. And… the couple that ran the resort and their staff are so helpful and fun. We loved this place❤️❤️❤️
Location was perfect right at the water. Could enter the ocean from the property. Beautiful sunsets from the pier at the hotel. Amazing staff and really good food. Very comfortable rooms and beds with views overlooking the ocean. Beautiful gardens.
Location, modern, views (you can see all north cost of Camiguin, even White Island) and food, the cuisine was amazing for dinner. The staff was friendly. The hotel is beautiful and pretty quite to relax. I could do yoga in the morning.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our concerns. They've been very helpful and considerate, given the circumstances we faced before we came to the property. The hotel is also very clean and near our planned touring spots.
It is walking distance from the Bohol-Camiguin ferry terminal.
The property is very secluded and filled with nature.
Great breakfast, even better conversation!
The morning sunlight in the room was absolutely stunning.
So very friendly, the Owner Jerome, and the staff..
The owner, Jerome, goes over and above to make your Vacation on Camiguin enjoyable.
Our Driver was very accommodating
Cleaning staff kept the place clean
Very nice place to stay in Camiguin. Everything from the cozy cabana to the wonderful art and plants all around the property, this place is sure to make your stay in Camiguin better than any other.
It’s location is very remote. Very private. Has a good ambiance. Super cool! It’s our first trip in Camiguin and staying here make it worth it. We’ll definitely be back 🙏🏻
To resume : I FELT AT HOME. The staff was friendly, the facilities good and good location. I rent a scooter bike directly at the hotel and used the shuttle to the airport.
Everything was perfect. The attention of the staff and the room were amazing. If we have the chance to go back to Camiguin we will stay in this hotel for sure!
