The property has a beautiful position on the waterfront, with lovely grass out front and a great pool. However, we had trouble with mosquitos, the wifi didn't properly reach the room and you have to go to reception to ask for water refills. However, the staff were friendly and it was very quiet and peaceful compared to General Luna. The breakfast included is a basic sisilog/sausage and fried spam + rice meal.

The bungalow was super cozy, clean and in a very nice and quiet location, far from the hustle and bustle with a very short walk to a beautiful beach with an amazing sunset.
The hosts Diana and Lukas were super nice and accommodating, and amazingly helpful in every sense. I only stayed there for 4 nights, but already felt at home when I had to leave again.
This is a true gem that I can highly recommend!

For us this is an airport hotel with a lovely pool. We ate in General luna and then 45 min taxi across to Mariden hotel then we are right next to the airport for our early flight. Taxi was easy because no traffic. The rooms are just a double bed with own shower toilet, aircon. They are arranged around the pool. We arrived, got straight into the huge pool and relaxed for 30mins before bed. Next morning, chill.. 5 mins to airport. The staff are lovely and the all night security guard helped with bags and taxi.

Staying at the bamboo house in Siargao for one night, which I booked at the last minute, turned out to be a super cool experience. When I got there, the first thing I noticed was how awesome the bamboo house looked. It felt really natural and was right in the middle of lots of green and trees. My room was simple, very nice and clean, with a bed that was super comfy to sleep in.
What I loved most was how quiet and peaceful it was. Just sitting on the porch, feeling the cool breeze, and listening to the sounds of nature around me made me feel so relaxed. It was a perfect break from the busy life.
The bamboo house was also in a great spot for checking out Siargao. It was easy to go out and find beautiful beaches and cool places to see on the island.
Even though there was no staff around, everything was set up in a way that made my stay really smooth. It felt like a little adventure, and I had everything I needed.
Booking this place last minute was such a lucky find. It was all about enjoying the simple things and being close to nature. If anyone wants to have a chill time in Siargao and experience something different, I'd totally recommend this bamboo house. It made my trip extra special, and I can't wait to go back someday.
