wide variety of food and price is ok. Not much to go in the General Santos area except for the fish port and central plaza. Though there are a lot of interesting places on the nearby towns which are azbout 1 hour away like SG farm, Lake Sebu, Glan beach, Dole plantation.

City wide roads, less traffic and people are generally nice, helpful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating. The food is superb! The seafood buffet we went to is heaven for seafood lovers like us... Until we meet again Gensan! So proud of this city! 😉😍

The city is always dusty, because its on the ocean.
Tricycles are really bad, no emision control, plenty of 2 cycles, horrible pollution. Drivers have major attiudes and will rip you off, know your fare prices. Basic city, better to use as a base. South Cotabato is pretty iffy as a tourist destination. Siargao is very good.

Not much to say since we only stayed for a day. We had lunch at Rachel and we were satisfied with the seafoods that were served us. We had the impression that there's not much unique to see for tourists in that urbanized city in such so short stay. The fresh seafood and the late afternoon durian market where we enjoyed the popular fruit under make shift table n stools are enough for transient stay
I have booked this property multiple times now. In fact whenever I need a hotel in Gensan I always stay here.
The facilities are simple but functional. The rooms are big and clean and comfortable.
The staff are always polite and in general great service from the staff.
The location is also excellent with a lot of restaurants just outside the hotel and walking distance from SM gensan.
Despite having alot of luggage, the staff went all the way just to help us during check in and check out. Just need to present your identification and provide the deposit. The check out went so smoothly. Room size is spacious enough so we really had a nice comfortable stay. This is a must hotel to book.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we asked for help with directions around the area and when we requested assistance in getting a taxi to the airport (not free like indicated in the listing). The bathroom was also very clean. Location is accessible to the city center.
It's obvious that the management of this wonderful hotel cared about the previous feedback of their guests.
All the staff speak with the same unique voice. Everything is perfect… but when it's not, just need to ask and the staff make everything possible to make it great.
The hotel itself was very clean and the staffs are very accommodating and friendly. And they also have a shuttle service free of charge transporting from airport to hotel vise versa with schedule, and it's up to you if you will give a tip on the driver.

Location is accessible to almost everywhere. Although there are a lot of trikes avail to drive you around town, I love that we can walk from the hotel to most places such as the park, the church and even the closest bus terminal.
The room is very cozy and has a hot and cold shower, functional ac and spacious parking. The location is not at the center of the city but is still accessible by public transportation.
