Salkantay lodge was faultless and such a great place to stay whilst doing the Salkantay trek. Arriving and seeing the room felt like a luxury. Great hot shower, toilet in room with seat and paper, clean room. Perfect. Manuel was also a great host - he gave us more information than tour guides we have had on our trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone stopping in the area!

Dina, the host at this lovely little Hospedaje in Santa Teresa was an absolute angel, she kindly met me in the local square, after my bus ride from Cusco, to show me the way to her well located accommodation. The room had everything I needed and I had a really comfortable night's sleep. Dina accommodated my dietary needs and made a special breakfast for me. Dina offered her partner Mario's services for the mototaxi to the ColcaMayo hot springs which were close enough to the accommodation, to enjoy a lovely long soak in the warm water. Mario was also very generous and helped organise the collectivo transport to Hydroelectrica for me. And Dina really helped me by keeping some of my luggage, and bringing it to meet the return bus, so that I did not have to carry it on my walk to Aguas Calientes, and my visit to Machu Picchu. I can really recommend Dina's friendly hospitality and her comfy guest house. It was just perfect for me. Thank you Dina, wishing you all the best.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, clean and nice rooms. After checkout we went up to visit Machu Picchu and were soaked afterwards because of the rain. They let us use the shower even after checkout and were able to dry our clothes. Really made a big difference!

Laid back town - sat and drank Beer watching local kids play...
Laid back town - sat and drank Beer watching local kids play in main square. We arrived by Motobike so the journey was the experience - but it was great to be welcomed with hot shower and comfy bed. Meal at nearby resturant was very good quality. Nice trip into Macchuu Picchu the next day - 1 hour by train. Would loved to have stayed longer and visit the hot springs
