A great stay with outstanding service by the staff. Not luxury but everything was very comfortable, comfy beds, good heating, hot showers, plus lots of little extras like free tea, filtered water, a sunny garden to relax in and the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Latin America. Highly recommend.
Pisac is a must for the Incan ruins. They are vast and well-maintained. The views of the valley are amazing. Take a taxi up to the top and hike down.
The town itself is a bit unusual. It's got a hippie vibe. Eco blended with wellness and expats. it's very different than other towns we visited. It's also a very sleepy town. Nothing opens before 8:00, even the coffee shops, and many places open at 10:00. The restaurants aren't open that late either.

The ruins were expansive and high up.
The ruins were expansive and high up. The 1.5 hour hike down from the ruins was one of the highlights of our trip. We ate at a Pizza place recommended by the hotel. It was great. Did not see a lot of other restaurant options. The town has some cool narrow cobble stone alleys and a nice plaza. We took a collectivo to Cusco on our way out of town. A great, cheap way to travel. Were looking for one up to the ruins but did not find one because we were at the wrong end of the bridge over the river. You need to walk across the bridge to catch the collectivos. One night in town was about right. Ended up in a slightly more expensive taxi for the ride up to the ruins. Would not recommend hiking up to the ruins, only down!

The walking through Pisac ruins is a fantastic experience - you should go by taxi to the upper entrance and walk down to the exit at the city center. The city itself is small, but very nice, with many good silver and crafts shops, and a fine botanic garden. The stay at the Florencio Casa Hacienda and dining at Cuchara de Palo restaurant were added delights

Hiking is a must, with easy to follow routes and easy access to the collectivo's to get to other towns.

Such a calm town after the hustle and bustle and traffic of Cusco. !! The archaeological site is the most complete and intact site in the country.
Eat at Osteria Antica, just a short walk from the hotel, on the same street. Wood fired oven pizza. The best pizza crust we have tasted. n Apparently, locals from as far away as Ollantaytambo and Urabamba make the trip to eat here.
Best hotel we ever stayed in Perù, everything was excellent, charming and vibrant with amazing artsy super colorful decorations in a modern Inca style, as well as the room which face a stunning garden with gourgeous plants & flowers. The staff is a family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers, they go above & beyond and all work really hard, from preparing delightful, best a' la carte breakfast ever, to providing with everything you need. They make you feel part of their family!!! I think I will never forget our stay with them!!!
The hotel is only 15 mins away from Pisac and Maribel will offer you always a ride. There are also ways to go to Casa Oren on foot. The views are amazing and the house is just beautiful. You can see that all has been well-planned and done with love. We had Nigel's chicken the last day, and we have to recommend it!!! It might be a good idea to order it in advance.
There are also lots of opportunities for trekking and sightseeing, and in the evening you can just sit in the bathtub to watch the clear sky full of stars!
Our stay at the Pisac Inn was wonderful!! Location is perfect on the Square and so fun to sit on the porch for a drink and enjoy some people watching. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive!! The king size bed was amazing after a day of hiking and so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Special thanks to Roxner for her great communication and helping us with taxi, luggage and more. This hotel is a GEM in Pisac and we would highly recommend it!
The room has window on the bed and bath room and in the morning there has nice sunlight from there and that's I really like about this hotel.
Also I am very sensible about smell but this place , I don't smell anything, feel hygenic.
The other thing I like about this lodge is I can hear the flow of the river so I don't need any music on. You can feel nature very much. I think the owner think about constructure very well. I wish if this is my house.
beautiful view of mountains, right next to Pisac market, cafes, restaurants & all artisans shops, bed is comfy with heavy blankets & extra in the closet, hot tea dispenser in hallway, hot shower, lovely garden space with tables & recliners, an attached cafe, and a shop within a locked property. there is also laundry service, very cheap. strong wifi inside rooms & in garden area. as a solo female traveler I felt very safe even at night
Nelida and Daniel were so accommodating, kind and helpful they always made sure I was comfortable. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner which is authentic Peruvian food made in sanitary conditions and with good quality produce. The location of Wayqi Wasi is in very nice, quiet and peaceful area with views of mountains all around and next to the river.
I am so happy I chose to stay at Wayqi Wasi!
The hot water shower is great - one of the best showers I have had in Peru. The room is clean, and the bed is super warm and comfy. I slept very well. The host, Jenny, is super friendly and responsive. Everyday she provided me with hot water for tea, which is very sweet. They have a cute dog, Sparky, who you will find roaming the street, pastry shop, and the main square every day...
Ivan has crafted Wolf Totem with love and care and attention to detail. The views are absolutely out of this world - genuinely the best in Pisac and the food was just as great. The menu is carefully planned and deliciously executed. Ivan kindly upgraded my room to a private instead of a dorm which I really really appreciated. Highly recommend
I really liked the hotel. The room was clean and bright. It was very quiet in the room which came as a nice surprise, I couldn’t hear others moving through the hotel. The water was hot for showering. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even let me heat up water to drink in their kitchen. Also, great location.
Nice hotel. Very comfortable bed and bed linen. Other thoughtful gestures like coca leaves for tea. Hot water, good water pressure. Helpful and friendly staff. English speaking receptionist. Great location with amazing view, yet my room was quiet. Highly recommended. Pisac is worth spending a night or more.
Great location in the heart of PISAC! A wonderful host who makes you feel as if you’re part of his family! A lovely breakfast served while overlooking a gorgeous garden! A terrific area in the courtyard to have a beer and chill after a special time enjoying the PISAC ruins.
It is a beautifully decorated hotel, with free painting available to all guests. The owners were lovely and very welcoming and generous, and created a lovely atmosphere. The breakfasts were really tasty and there was free tea and coffee on tap.
The house is located near the beautiful river. Super clean house! Bed is very comfortable, and the bedding smelled from laundry. Full equipped kitchen with filtered water tap. They have Netflix too. The shower is the best in peru.
La Chakana is away from the center of Pisac but close enough to walk with great views of the ruins and mountains. Amazing communal kitchen and rooms are spacious (appreciate the heating pads! for chilly nights).
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was great, comfy bed clean. The hotel open spaces were gorgeous. They have a pet alpaca who is so fun to play with!!! Huge plus
The entire place is a vibe. A quick 15 minute walk from Pisac, settled on a hillside looking across the valley at the Pisac ruins. Hot showers, sauna, daily yoga, great views great vibes.
Amazing atmosphere and warm welcome that I received from Alexandra. Property has great location, within you minutes you can reach the beauty of the heart of Pisac.
