Front Count member was very helpful and friendly on arrival, offered to change my room which I was grateful for. I cleaner saw me having difficulty getting into my room and assisted myself which I was thankful for. Room was up to standard and comfortable. Seeing it’s over the Christmas prior your staff did a great job.

Very handy location, bus route located just outside site. 5min drive to Porirua shopping centre and Te Rauparaha Arena. Convenient store 5min walk away. Very clean and tidy rooms with comfortable beds, heater and extra blanket if needed. Loads of storage. Exccellent views for complimentary coffee in the morning.. Hosts are very friendly and family orientated. PlayStation and WiFi free for our enjoyment. Breakfast is available at low cost pp. I highly recommend this venue. We enjoyed our warm welcoming stay.

Often noticed the Bucket Tree on train trips into Wellington. As all hotels in Wellington were booked out, we stayed at the Bucket Tree. Very nice clean and comfortable rooms. Extremely helpful hosts. Just one stop on the train to Wellington and Bucket Tree is right by the track. Tawa has a bit of a village feel to it in contrast to the City.
