I was traveling solo with my infant. The whole vibe at Noah’s Ark is so great. Harry and Linda - the owners - are amazing and the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. I even extended my stay there and had a lovely time there. There is a big kitchen, lounge, and dining space. The location is also perfect. You can make your base there and go for day trips to Franz Josef, Punakaiki, Hokitika, etc. Very close to the i-site.

Nice quiet location only a few minutes drive north of town. Excellent clean and tidy room with an excellent kitchen. Good WiFi. Electric blankets on all beds was nice on a cold night.
