The cabin looked brand new. It was bright and, although not big, it felt spacious because of an excellent use of space. The owner sent us instructions to get to the cabin and to get inside that were excellent. We also liked it that felt quiet and isolated even though we were only about 100m from a busy road.

We had an amazing stay. In a lovely quiet area. Very clean and comfortable. A well thought out place to stay. Breakfast was lovely. Only downside was that we could hear people in the house at night time so felt we needed to be quiet. But it is definitely worth a stay. Highly recommend, better than our hotel stay the night before!

We were attending a wedding at Waterfall farm, Parakai was a great location for our family to travel. We had 4 rooms for 2 nights and the accommodation was wonderful. There is a great four square, tasty bakery, a bar/restaurant along with Parakai springs across the road.

Was good for what it was the highlight has got to be the hot tub and balcony space, however they should invest in bug lights or candles as thats what made us not spend as much time in the tub which is the draw card. The bed has got to be one of the best in terms of mattress just the right comfort for me, could of done a bit bigger but again good for what it was. Location good walking distance to the shops and public pools if need be. Everything was contactless which was good but staff were onsite if need be.

Quiet private once you are in the room
Quiet private once you are in the room
Bring your own towels you need them..
No dish towel stove top and bench be sure you give these a good clean before using them
No condiments!!
For a Lodge and a young one at that standards are very shoddy..
I am from Helensville to stay in what I thought would be a nice motel lodge was very disappointing..and very disheartening...
The private spa pool was awesome. Take the advice of how long to cool down as they are super hot if you fill just before wanting to get in. The room was more spacious than we anticipated and thought the facilities were nice. Didn't deal with any staff as it was all self service, but thought it was good value for a family like ours with two teens and have already booked to stay again. Just across the road from the Parakai pools with hydroslides and a 100m from a 4 Square and some take away stores etc so no need to go anywhere.
The ladies where very welcoming and friendly when checking in or if we needed anything.
When speaking to Wesley(manager), he was very kind.
The rooms where comfortable, spacious and inviting.
I had booked several rooms for my family & if need be there is an extra pull out bed available in every room.
The pool area and spa where great too..
Overall, I recommend this Lodge if staying in the Parakai area..
Private deck with table and chairs, and our own mineral water spa - so relaxing. HRV turned on in the morning before getting out of bed to warm the small lounge. Functioning kitchen with courtesy tea/coffee. Close to carpark and parakai springs across the road. Great for family or couples.
The private mineral spa was the ultimate for me - i loved it .... but there was also a large, well equipped studio apartment, a spa bath in the bathroom, a kitchenette with a ceramic top hob, microwave, and small fridge, and a private balcony with outdoor furniture
Wow this is the standards most hotels should be based on. The room facilities were fantastic. There was a double spabath and a spa pool. Even a nespresso maker. Definitely suggest to upgrade to the premier studio for a night of relaxation
We loved the hot mineral pool and the privacy of the pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful, the unit was clean and comfortable and it was great to have contactless check-in and check-out.
The spa pool was cool, the space in our room was awesome and we were right across the road from Parakai hot pools which is where we spent the day so it was really convenient
Main pool, private spa pool, nice room, comfy bed. Mobility parking for my special needs children 😊. Close to playground, restaurant, 4 Square and parakai pools.
Everything beautiful staff friendly and efficient we will be returning its that good been to alot of places this summer parakai lodge is by far our best 1
