Loved everything about Tuscan, Carol and Mace r the best hosts ever, the place was so warm, there was a swimming pool and the facilities r just excellent.
The breakfast too was amazing and was always timely . I will go back there.

Very clean motel. Shops right next door, beach access across the road. Bummer weather was wet to try the pool, playground & activities room. Would definitely recommend. I know its only small but my fav was the table it had like a foot massager at the bottom 😅great after a long day shopping, the shower pressure was amazing. Staff was very welcoming. Me & my children hope to stay there again in the summer season.

We got a text in advance asking us what we would like for breakfast, and a very good selection was provided. The location turned out to be really good (not knowing the area) as it was very handy to a cafe, a grocery store and several restaurants, as wll as being just a block from the beach.

Papamoa is probably best known for its white sand beach, which stretches for several kilometres. It is very accessible, as there are walkways between houses at frequent intervals allowing pedestrian acces from the two streets running parallel to the beach. Papamoa has a modern mall and several shopping centres, offering a variety of dining experiences and convenience foods. A highway system allows access to Mt Maunganui and Tauranga, about a half hour's drive away. The only downside for me is the traffic navigation - the highway system is very busy and clogs up quickly during peak traffic times, and some of the surrounding roads have some pretty unfriendly roundabouts with speed humps and traffic lights added, sensory overload for a driver unfamiliar with the area.

Papamoa is a very laid back and peaceful place to visit.
Papamoa is a very laid back and peaceful place to visit. Everything you need is right on the doorstep and really great to visit a beach that isn't crowded. Everyone you meet while walking along the beach are friendly (including the dogs) and it's a lovely place to relax and be at one with nature.

We had a lovely stay over looking the beach. Laundry facilities are always a bonus - $2 coins needed. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Close to cafes, takeaways and shopping. Lovely coffee cart nearby.

Didn't go to papamoa no one told me about a the pacific hotel that I booked. I don't spend my wiz payment for that I got a baby and nw I got no money. Us took mostly all my money out of my win payment.

Papamoa is ideally situated close to Mt Maunganui yet far away enough to retain a sense of peace. It's also within an hour's drive of beautiful Ohope Beach &, to the north, Waihi Beach, both of which are well worth visiting (especially Ohope Beach & Whaktane).

Papamoa is a lovely beach resort town. There's plenty of beach space with a surf club to patrol the beach. There are plenty of food outlets to cater for all needs. The walkways are a great asset to encourage people outdoors for their chosen exercise routine.
Very comfortable two bedroom apartment, very nicely furnished, with off-street parking. Beach towels provided too! Quiet neighbourhood for a great night's sleep. We were met at the door and shown the door code, the apartment is private but upstairs attached to a larger house. We were able to use part of the garden as well, which was handy to dry swim-gear as the apartment is fully carpeted and there is no drying area if you bring wet gear back from the beach. Highly recommend the walk to the summit of Mauao for sunset!
All the facilities were everything we needed for our restful breakaway. We planned to have as much time in as out so having Sky TV was just what we wanted. We were within 200mtrs to a shopping centre and across the road to beach access, and situated at the far end of Papamoa Beach made it very accessable to the Eastern Bay of Plenty beaches. The breakfast supplies were plentiful and Jane could not do enough for us.
After 4 weeks of touring NZ it was good to stay out for 5 days and chill and the apartment was perfect for this. Very well equipped and comfy we had an outside patio and the pool and outdoor facilities were excellent. Great to have a supermarket within walking distance as was Papamoa beach. One of the best places we stayed in our 5 week vacation.

Gorgeous and perfectly clean apartment with a beautiful garden out back. Perfectly situated to walk to Papamoa Beach. Quiet neighborhood. Trina has really thought the place out well. All the amenities are thoughtful and the bathroom is gorgeous.
House was tidy and clean and comfortable beds. Board games for the kids. Agent was easy to deal with and quick to respond. Plenty of room for all of us.

Great location and a great host! Jennie was very welcoming! The bed was very comfortable with an electric blanket which is just what you need on chili winter nights! I definitely will come back next time I'm in Tauranga!
Location was excellent 2 mins walk from the beach. The house was beautiful all you could need sunny deck out front sheltered deck out the back. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook next time we are down there!
