Once again a fabulous stay at Kingsdown Manor. Mel is a fantastic host, and the manor has recently been renovated to a high standard. A lovely convenient location, and beautiful setting. Great for relaxing or laying over during business travels. I will certainly book to stay again when travelling through Timaru.

Location is close to everything and convenient. Room was super clean and has everything you need during a stay. Ina's communication is quick and easy, she was very accommodating and generous with her time and effort. Location is perfect. Enjoyed seeing all the stars at night. Beautiful home-made bread, butter & jam was provided along with a couple of eggs, a small juice, milk, sugar and real coffee. Cosy and warm unit. Lovely hosts. I will be staying there again.

This is definitely a budget accommodation. The location was good with parking and an easy walk into town/beach. The road noise was quite bad and even with the windows and door closed it felt as if the cars were right next to our room. I wouldn’t stay here again.
