This is an old hotel which has very historic nostalgic vibes. I didn't expect much as it has shared bathrooms so I assumed it wasn't a renovated property. I was pleasantly surprised to find the beds to be very comfortable, the room warm, clean & all we needed. The shared bathroom was very clean & modern enough. There are 2 bathrooms to service 4 rooms so it was not a problem. I would stay here again for one night travelling through as it is close to walking distance to restaurants & cafes and the price is a seller !

Really well equipped little cozy cabin. Had everything you could need. Perfect for chilling out away from hustle and bustle. Lovely pretty lake, nice terrace. Hosts communicated well and gave clear directions and arrival instructions, really friendly and helpful.

Marc was an incredible host, ensuring we knew how to access the property, kindly providing us with some parking as the street was going to be busy for an event, and gave us some fantastic tips for dinner. The thoughtful touches in the room such as the delicious coffee, and the scrummy handmade granola and quince shrewsbury made our stay extra special!
The bed was large and comfortable with beautiful linen, and the towels were so soft and fluffy.
Our hosts generously ensured that the room was warm upon arrival, and the heated tiles in the bathroom were just divine! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would thoroughly recommend it to others!
