This property is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts are really lovely people. We were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only guests which made it feel unique. We were offered a tour of the vineyard and complimentary wine tasting - both of which were very enjoyable. We also opted to have dinner with the hosts - I have a couple of dietary requirements and Sue was able to easily accommodate me. Overall a fantastic first experience staying at a vineyard - Thank you Sue and Paul!

Everything was just perfect. It’s beautiful, warm, and clean. From the start, Suzanne and John warmly welcome you and make your stay even better. Breakfast was delicious. Here’s a tip: book for more than one night, as you’ll be sad when leaving. I’m so happy that we found this place.

This gem was a delight! Great value, very comfortable and private with warm and inviting decor and lighting. The big verandah was welcome on a hot day, and Michele and Jeffrey were generous offering bonus mini golf and cherries as well as helping us sort the bbq. A short drive into Clyde and Alexandra, Studio 585 is highly recommended.
Great town with personality. Quality shopping available and awesome range of restaurants. Especially the Thai and RSA. Supermarkets options are great too. Recommend time at the local Pool . Nice to relax after an average game of golf. Must walk up to the clock on the hill. Beautiful views. And don't leave without walking over the bridge.

We found Alexandra easy to find our way around.
We found Alexandra easy to find our way around. We had a lovely evening meal at The Finary and then breakfast at the Tin Goose Cafe.
I was really disappointed that The Packing Shed was closed the day we were there as that is always a fabulous lunch stop especially at Cherry picking time! A bit out of town but definately worth a visit.

Beautiful town in the heart of Central Otago with an alpine village feel. Lots of outdoor activities and close to other towns such as Cromwell and Wanaka without the overpriced accommodation of Wanaka and Queenstown. I always stay in Alexandra and use it as my base to access all of Central Otago, being a rep i find it good value for money.

Our aim was to ride some of the bike trails and sample some of the local wine.
Both of these activities are well catered for in Alexandra. Everyone is friendly and supportive of the local small businesses.
Alexandra is a bit light on eating out choices, but plenty of options in Clyde and other small towns.

We loved our very last minute stay in Alexandra and really enjoyed the central location of the motel. The trampoline and swing ball set were a huge hit with the girls too. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, plus the unit was exceptionally clean. We will absolutely revisit in the near future!
It is a great property in a lovely rural position with lovely grounds. The chalet was very comfortable, warm and very quiet even though a busy road was close by. Being between Clyde and Alexandra meant we could go either way for provisions and restaurants.
The location had great views, was quiet and close to town --- and the famous Alexandra Clock. The unit was comfortable, sparkling clean, warm and well equipped. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
