Kathmandu, a city where the past seamlessly blends with the present, offers a captivating journey through time and culture. As you stroll through its vibrant streets, you can’t help but feel the echoes of history in the ancient architecture, temples, and bustling bazaars. Yet, beneath this timeless charm lies a modern, progressive spirit that is equally striking when you interact with the locals.
Every time I visit Kathmandu, I find myself returning to my favorite spots that reflect this unique fusion. Shisha is perfect for those seeking a laid-back atmosphere with rock and soft rock music, providing the ideal backdrop for unwinding after a day of exploration. For a more intense experience, Purple Haze delivers with its electrifying hard rock scene, a must-visit for lovers of live music. And then there’s Lord of the Drinks, a place that beautifully marries the influences of the West with the cultural essence of Nepal and the Global South. It’s the kind of spot where you can feel the energy of a global city in the heart of an ancient land.
Kathmandu, with its seamless blend of tradition and modernity, never fails to leave me in awe. It’s not just a city; it’s a living, breathing museum and a testament to how the old and new can thrive together in harmony.

Kathmandu is a very special place to experience Nepali culture. The people are very friendly and the history, religion, art, festivals and culture of the place are very special and worth experiencing. There is also great shopping if you like handicrafts, textiles, wood carving, Buddha statues, Buddhist paintings and hand crafted metal objects. If you stay in Kathmandu it is worth spending time in Boudhanath which has a large and ancient stupa. There is also a lot to see in Patan and Bhaktapur which are historic towns next to Kathmandu with ancient temples and architecture and artisans at work.

This Hotel is a perfect choice in Karhmandu! Sara and Sudan are wonderful persons, I got involved in a very heartwarming and familiarly way. I had great access to the best sightseeing locations, a trekking up to the Himalaya included. The hotel is super clean and cheap, with different Roma you can choose, from dormitory to a big, high standard rooms with integrated bath. When I will come back, this place will definitely my place to stay again!!! Thank you for everything!!😘

The best thing about the property is people who work there, kind, professional and always there for you to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect in Thamel, walking distance to Durbar square, restaurants and shops. They provide an airport pick up and that's a big bonus. Nice terrace on the top of the hotel has beautiful sunset views. I recommend it!
Ultra modern facilities all of which worked perfectly. Excellent staff from the owner and his wife always around and the manager down to the domestic staff . Undoubtedly the best small boutique in Kathmandu. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels in Thamel and this is the best .
