Very accommodating staff. I arrived later than I planned. Even at midnight the staff was nice and cheerful, answered the questions I had and informed about all the things regarding the stay. Breakfast was as amazing as always. Cosy and clean room. I always overnight at Clarion when I’m passing through.

One of the most scenic cities I've ever visited.
One of the most scenic cities I've ever visited. The last time I was there,20 years ago, it was winter. It was very pleasant visiting there in Summer this time. The cheapest place we found to eat at was the Burger King. All restaurants were very expensive because we come from a country which has a very weak currency. It is very easy to get around and see most of the sights on foot.

The town of Trondheim is charming, a lovely spot for a day or two before beginning a fjord adventure. The Nidaros Cathedral is truly impressive, and the Bakklandet quarter is filled with lovely cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful place, not overcrowded.
Beautiful place, not overcrowded. Attended the parkrun on the Saturday, met a bunch of lovely folks there. The parkrun itself was tough. Had a lovely run along the fjord, lovely views and natural surroundings. Buses and trains were excellent. Went to the cinema, a comfortable experienece. Don't bother taking cash - everything is paid for by card. Plenty eateries for all tastes. Had a delicious dinner at the Indian Tandoori.

Amazing city!
Amazing city! Not to crowded, with very well organized public transport.
Most of places to visit in a walking distance from the city center. A lot of restaurants and coffee shops. People are friendly.
Fantastic city view from Egon Tårnet restaurant - must go and see :)
great trip by tram nr 9 Gråkallen Line also offers a beautiful view from the top.
There are not many hotels that manage to combine everything including a good price. This one does in my opinion. Location was good, near the main square. A little bit of noise at night, but nothing too bad. Friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, I thought. Really good choice of hot and cold food, with a big range of gluten-free stuff if you needed it. TV and wifi worked very well. Room had plenty space (even for a single). Hotel looked after my bags for a full 12 hours after checkout - much appreciated.
It is obviously a premium class hotel, so you expect great service, comfortable rooms, and a beautiful spa area. And Britannia certainly offers all of it. The breakfast buffet is also exceptional!
