> No running water. Water to be fetched from the river.
> No electricity AT ALL.
> No kitchen : no dedicated space for cooking, no utensils, no gas/woodstove. The only way of cooking is the barbecue outside, although very exposed to the elements (fire is not allowed on the dry weeks which was the case during our visit, no covered terrace to sit outside on a rainy day)
> Toilets : dry toilets, or rather a set of wanky planks in an old barn.
> Sleeping : 4 single old fashioned wooden beds scattered around the house. People from 1.85m and above won't fit (yet sleeping on the floor is an option as suggested by the host).
> Overall : very creepy, unpractical old "house" (museum?), full of family pictures, souvenirs etc.
You could do with(out) all the above, but certainly not for 75 euros a night. At this stage I still don't know what we've been paying for ?? We left about 30 minutes after the check-in to the nearest camping, for a better view and some actual services.
The host refused even a partial refund and Booking was of no help at all. We lost 150 euros.

Cleanliness: The rooms were generally clean, although there was some dust here and there. We understand that this cannot always be perfect.
Excellent service: We would like to give a special mention to the girl with light brown hair. Her helpfulness and friendliness made our stay much more enjoyable. The woman who cleared the tables and served from morning to evening also deserves a big thumbs up. She did much more than the other kitchen/bar staff.
Location is exceptionally beautiful, this hotel is perfectly located, you can drive anywhere within a 1.5 hour drive.

Very clean, quiet and peaceful setting. We had dinner and breakfast and both foods were one of the best we had in Norway even better than lot more expensive hotel we stayed in.

Very clean and modern apartment with spacious rooms.
You can see a small view of the fjord from the living room, through the garden and trees (if the weather cooperates).
Very comfortable bed with nice bedding.
Underfloor heating everywhere (we didn’t need it as it was warm enough without any heating). The heat-recovery ventilation system with adjustable temperature also helps to keep the air fresh and comfortable inside (note: it’s not an air conditioner).
There is a separate laundry room with a washer, dryer, and drying rack. The kitchen only has a big fridge, but there is a chest freezer in the utility room.
Huge kitchen with good appliances. We only cook simple meals on holiday so it was more than enough.
Quiet. We heard a few barks from the huskies and a few footsteps from upstairs but nowhere near enough to be bothersome.
Good wifi and a cozy couch corner for the rainy days.
We met the owner for check-in and he showed us around the apartment. There is a key code for entry so there’s no hassle with handing over the keys when checking out.
Great location in the countryside, close enough to plenty of attractions (assuming you have a car).

Beautiful House with Great rooms and Great kitchen. Location is very convenient to cover all the tourist spots like Stryn, loen etc. House has all the facilities required for a family.
