It was quiet and clean and close to the town of Okanger but about 40 minute drive from Trondheim. It’s a very compact unit (cottage for 3 persons) and the shower is tiny, but it had most things that we needed. There was a microwave, toaster, 2 burner cooktop and a dishwasher.

•Great communication with the host who was easy to reach and friendly
•Exceptional bathroom with a beautiful full bathtub (that we unfortunately didn’t have time to use)
•Very good bed in the Master Bedroom, we slept incredibly well
•Fully equipped kitchen
•Clean and tidy
We stayed here as a layover on our trip south. Best option in Orkanger, Close to the centre, historical building. Clean rooms and overall a professional hotel. Nice breakfast and good value for money I would say. I loved that fresh coffee served to guests in the lobby at 6am - good for us early risers.
It's a beautiful ancient hotel with a story. I stayed in a hut in the backyard with own access and possibility to park right outside the door.
The breakfast was good, with the classic selection of options, but nothing special.
Hotel had some history and offered a tour through the old building. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby and the food in the restaurant was good.
