The room included its own shower/toilet (we have had shared facilities off & on during our stay in Norway, so it's always nice when we can afford or have our own for a particular stay).

Cafe was a very nice touch for 2 tired, hungry cycle-tourers.
The sculptured wooden statues near the cafe brought smiles to our faces 😄.

Reception staff were amazing - so friendly. Location was perfect, room was clean and bed very comfortable. Nice to have tea/coffee making and a small fridge that was big enough for us to store our lunch stuff. Rooftop bar was amazing.

this will be an odd review, as I can tell you virtually nothing. My booking, through booking.com, was indeed with Bodo Hotel. So was my confirmation email, so was my welcome email from the hotel, in the days running up to arrival. When I arrived at the hotel by taxi from the airport my payment was indeed taken. The receptionist then announced 'well, you are not actually staying here, but we have moved you to the Comfort Hotel, indeed 100m down the road'. Apparently because the Bodo Hotel was overbooked. It is not clear to me how this could happen, and neither the Bodo Hotel nor Booking.com informed me before arrival. Thus there is nothing I can review about the Bodo Hotel since I did not stay at it, other than it is in a convenient central location and they had indeed completed whatever paperwork was necessary for me to check in at the Comfort Hotel without problem.
