We had planned a 5 day trip by staying in Myrkdalen and exploring Flåm and around. We did drive everyday which was a bit hectic. One or two extra days with relaxing and hiking locally would have been better.
The resort was modern, clean, has fantastic amenities such as lots of activities on offer, the food restaurants were superb and the staff were brilliant. The room was very comfortable and the WiFi was quick. There was a bar with games and books, and a sports cafe nearby to enjoy a warm drink. The free coffee and tea was a great touch.
The location served us well - it is 10 min walk from Myrkdalen Hotel / ski resort and was right next to an Airbnb apartment we were staying at the following day. The hotel has a nice and cosy lobby - it was good to hang out there and drink some tea there in the evening.

The hotel is very nice, modern facilities and well kept. Extra plus for the electric car chargers available in the parking area. Very accomodating employees. 😊
It was nice and quiet apartment hotel. Staff was very friendly. It is located between Flam and Voss, so we managed to visit both of them without changing hotel.
Myrkdalen is in a beautiful location and the amenities are great for active kids. Our kids loved the bike rental, pump track, and nearby jumping pillow.
