Really beautiful hotel in a stunning location! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Wish we stayed here longer as it is really nice location if you want nature. Parking at the hotel was also free.

The room was quite adequate - even pleasant - for a mid-price comfortable hotel…with one glaring exception - the flooding shower.
It was a case of more style than substance e.g. a rack of upside-down wine glasses, a hard-to-operate espresso machine and a pathetically limited array of teabags - 2 rosehip tea bags - who the hell drinks rosehip tisane on a daily basis ?!
The balcony was pleasant enough - a view over the rooftops with some distant glimpses of church spires.
Just 3 km from Stavanger and 15 minutes’ walk from Lake Mosvannet, this eco-friendly hotel provides bright, air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs.

For us the Utstein Kloster Hotell was a special experience. Lots of smiling and accommodating staff, interesting art, beautiful view, and our room was well appointed and peaceful. We had a delicious dinner there. We hope to come back soon!
