The food in the main restaurants was very good! Everyone was very friendly and nice all the time. The location of the hotel is really closed to the center. Also the facilities were very clean and well kept.

I wouldn’t know. I didn’t get to stay here because there was a problem with their water. I had booked the hotel because of its proximity to the airport and I arrived after midnight, so you can imagine I wasn’t best happy at being moved to a hotel in the town centre. BUT I have to say their response was outstanding. They immediately put me on a taxi to the clarion in town and organized a return taxi in the morning. Very, very good service from friendly and helpful staff. These things happen and it is great to see when the response is effective, efficient and friendly! Thank you!

Madla is a residential area, basically. A suburb of Stavanger. It is OK for cyclists and drivers but it is rather spread out and tricky to get around if you are on foot. It is a beautiful semi-rural seaside spot if the weather is fine.
