Loved this place so much - super comfortable and bright and clean. Our host was exceptionally helpful by sending us a picture of the house and list of nearby attractions in advance. The bonus was a beautiful sauna and outdoor cold water shower. The host kindly offered and started the wood fire so we could enjoy the sauna immediately. We plan on returning for a longer stay in the future!

Location is a little remote but in a stunning area. Property is old but charming, I suspect it was a farm once. We were warmly welcomed by Linda our host who gave us info on the local area and made a reservation for us for dinner at a local hotel. Room and bathroom were cosy but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Comfy bed and hot shower. We went back through the tunnel the next morning & after walking down to the glacier had breakfast at the cafe. Worth doing.
Absolute charming hotel with everything you need and beyond. Using the jacuzzi after a long hike was a welcome relief and rounded off our evening wonderfully. Everything was clean, our room was really cute and offered lovely views of the lake.
We came back to the Lunde Turiststasjon after we were there 8 years ago.
