Well-equipped, pleasant room. Good bed, pillow too large, but such pillows are apparently used everywhere in this region. Breakfast very good, served at the table and all extra requests catered for - very pleasant. Excellent restaurant. Lovely atmosphere.

It was interesting to enter the hotel by its front door and find myself in a ladies' hairdressers. But I was quickly identified as a hotel guest and not a customer for a trim, and the friendly staff made me feel at home and showed me to my room via the lift. They also provided me with a safe place to leave my bike for the night. I had a well-equipped room with fridge, coffee machine, TV etc. It was a very quiet area and I slept well. Breakfast was delivered by the owner and contained a good selection of items, including freshly squeezed orange juice.

The staff member who helped us to check in was superb. He asked us about dinner and our plans for the evening and kindly offered to serve us dinner much earlier than we booked. He was then courteous and checked in when handing us menus to ensure we had enough time for us plans later in the evening.

We were made to feel very welcome and at ease by the very friendly and charming staff, who spoke excellent English. On one evening, we invited some Dutch friends to dine with us at Hotel Mauritz and received excellent and attentive service. We also benefited from great advice and tips on where to walk and what to see around Willemstad. We will definitely book again!
The hotel combines traditional charm with contemporary design and is well positioned in relation to Willemstad - a delightful small town and an excellent place for a short stay in the heart of the Netherlands. The staff were attentive and the evening meal - served in the lovely rear garden - was beautifully prepared and good value for money.

The hotel, the restaurant, the staff and the location were all absolutely brilliant! We couldn’t fault anything and will be returning in the future for sure. Our room was overlooking the harbour so the view was beautiful and the staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay brilliant.
Everything! We were upgraded to a suite with our own private parking. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the room and facilities were fabulous and the location in the village centre was perfect. Willemstad is a beautiful sailing village right on the water! we loved it!
The hotel is in the middle of a very charming town, with lots of restaurants near by. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, The rooms were very spacious and the beds were so comfortable, plus the breakfast was delicious. We hope to come back soon
