Breakfast was OK, nothing special but good enough for the price.
Room-size was OK for a single room with bathroom. Shower was big enough and the water was hot.
Staff was friendly and spoke German, English and Dutch.
Location just across the main station and on the main road is nice.

We had a very nice, large room. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean and had a great shower. We had a really good dinner at their restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.
Hotel American is situated in the center of Venlo across from the Limburgs Museum and just over 5 minutes by car from the German border. It features a packed lunch service.

Location. The charm of being inside a chateau in the middle of the lake. The green surroundings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We all had a good night of relaxing and deep sleep. The hotel uses Rituals for shampoo, conditioner and hand wash and they smell so good.
The room also has coffee so that helps and the view from the windows is spectacular. Our toddler was happy to see so many birds and to explore the garden grounds.

Venlo is one of my favourite cities to escape to, there are always activities happening and one can have lovely meals from fine dining to take ways. A large no. of Bars all around as well as shopping opportunities at 2 Bruder or Beej Benders ( Fresh food Market and Restaurant). They also have their regular Markets.
So much too do and very vibey.

Quality furniture and furnishings. Beautiful view over the shopping precinct, trees and parkland. Lovely breeze coming in the windows, perfect for early summer month 👏
Stairs were steep and difficult with luggage but once we reached our room we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely, clean and luxurious it felt.

The room was rather expensive.
The room was rather expensive. Hotel miss managed my reservation and only had one night instead of two. The service in the restaurant was attrocias. Took forever to be waited on, I had to ask for the wine card 3 times before I finally received it. The waitress said she was busy as an excuse but it was more her unprofessional service & attitude.

Theater Hotel is a very good base starting point for meetings, shopping, musea, lunch, diner and nightlife. Everything you need you can find here and also plenty of bicycle routes are available to nice places in the surrounding. Go to any information desk and you will find information and start planning your own trip.

Travelling through Germany/Poland/Lithuania/Latvia, Venlo is our 1st stop after the tunnel and last stop on the way back to the tunnel.
So a good comfortable stop is essential Bilderberg Hotel has now taken over as our preferred stop

Venlo is a beautiful city , i really loved the architecture and the nature . It was a wonderful time spent. Next time i'll take more time to walk around and explore even more. It is a very neat and clean city my eyes liked it.
After a week in a big city, it was lovely to unwind and have a rest at Mr. Jigs, Venlo. We enjoyed lounging in the Cocktail & drinks Cafe. The variety of Easter cocktails were delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The bed was a lovely size and comfy.
The city had an Easter Egg Walk( Eierloop) and everyone was out having fun.
Mr. Jigs also has a late checkout option and that is exactly what we did and then took a bottle of their signature Gin Mr. Jigs home with us.

Nobody’s Place 10 min walk , very vey clean hotel ! Really just normal place nothing special but very well cleaned and cared for the staff lady opened up the coffee and outside just for me even though I was there at Saturday morning 0645 ! Very nice for her to go out of her schedule to open the cafe for me so early…
Very central location, 12 minutes walk from the train station and shops, cafes, restaurants on the doorstep. Useful to have fridge and iron. Lovely light apartment with big windows and lots of space as well as street view.
Easy access using codes and clear instructions on the initial access were given by email in advance.
Would be good if soap and soap dispenser for washing hands was provided and also a bath mat.
Booked at short notice en-route from Norway to the Uk. What a gem of a hotel. So easy to find off the motorway yet so quiet. Beautiful aspect with gardens we would love to sit in on a summer's evening. The restaurant staff were so friendly and attentive along with great food. Found by fluke but we will definitely return.
The location of the hotel is close to the train station and the Juliana park.
It takes you less than 10 minutes walking to arrive city centre and the area is quiet to rest.
The staff is really helpful and kind and the living room for breakfast is decorated with coloured glasses in the ceiling. Amazing!
Great location, nice little hotel, friendly staff, cosy room, soft bed (to soft for me, my girl liked it a lot), clean bathroom. We were there for the ,,zomerparkfeest" which is a very nice festival (music, culture, ...) and only maybe 1000m away from this hotel. All in all very good and nice!
All minuses if this hotel, cover one thing. Staff did everything that we would be able to check in at 4am. Only one hotel in all Venlo who accept this. Special thanks to staff. And the bath is for sure plus of this room.
