I would highly recommend a trip to Veere. The town of Veere is gorgeous and there is plenty to see. We happily explored the streets, shops and restaurants. We also hired bikes which made it a lot easier to explore the surrounding towns of Vrouwenpolder.
I am gluten free and found some delicious options at Brasserie de Peperboom (must try and be sure to book) and De Werf is great for drinks and fresh seafood along the water.

One of the most lovely villages (small towns) in Zeeland. Everything is beautiful and well kept. It almost feels like a museum.
Good parking just outside town, but within 5 minutes walking distance. Quite touristy (of course).
Spacious room, friendly staff and great breakfast. The hotel is in the centre of Veere with everything in walking distance. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Our room even had a small outside seating area: perfect for the warm summer evening.
We loved having our own little place in the middle of the beautiful town of Veere. The garden is great and the bed is very comfortable.
The living/kitchen area is a bit small but we managed. All in all we had a great stay and would totally come again.
