The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a good shower and nice bed linen. The location is great with the train station and the beautiful historic town just a few minutes walk away. There are some good restaurants nearby. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed breakfast at some of the excellent local cafes.

We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel. Warmond is a very nice and small town with old renovated houses, lots of green and nice lake swimming fascilities. Beautiful area for walking and biking.
We chose this property as it was close to Keukenhof Gardens, as well as other sights we wanted to visit. The accommodation is modern, clean, and private, with the added bonus of having driveway parking for our car.
Our host, Bianca, was there to greet us when arrived, and provided us with enough food/drink for breakfast for the 4 nights we were staying there. Sassenheim itself is a charming town with local restaurants available (we particularly enjoyed eating at Eetcafe De Voogd).
In total it was a quite good stay, next to our points of interessts (Leiden, Katwijk, Seeside, Wassennaar, Den Haag).
The Room size was excellent, balcony was shared alongside with other rooms, our view was more in dirction to the highway next to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the personal was always friendly and supportive.
Nice big room and nice balcony, breakfast was also good with a comfy bed, but it was difficult to find Uber (almost impossible), better to use a bicycle (rental is available) to the train station, and also better to buy groceries before coming back to the hotel since nothing around, though nice and quiet neighborhood.
Would be great if king or queen size beds are provided instead single beds. Although the quality of single beds were comfy, you will end up sleeping only in one position due to the lifetime of the mattresses. The only thing that could be improved by the hotel.

We picked it as it is 30 minutes by bike to the tulip show at Keukenhof, a very pleasant trip. We had our own bikes, but both electric and manual bikes are available for hire.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable the reception of the hotel was nice and well decorated. The sushi restaurant was good and the breakfast selection was great and there were some gluten free and vegan options
Beautiful hotel close to the tulip gardens. Suite was amazing. Huge room with living space and dining space. Very large bathroom and outdoor terrace. Beds were so comfortable. Coffee maker in room was a plus!
I loved the decor, the terrific restaurant, and morning breakfasts! It was so special to have e-bikes delivered to the hotel for our journey to The Keukenhof, which was a convenient ride from the hotel.
