The apartment is beautiful. very close to the city center, the mall, the supermarket. Everything you need is by a walkable distance. easy to arrive. We enjoy our stay. Clean, the owner was very kind. if you want to visit Purmered, this apartment is the best place to stay.
On the photos it looked like they are closed capsules, pods...
On the photos it looked like they are closed capsules, pods but there was only a curtain to cover the pod, room was stinky, very crowded did not feel safe. the bed sheets were not put on the bed, i do not think it is not logical to expect us to put the bed covers and sheets. What am I paying for if i am not gonna get any service in return. There is no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. the shower water is a push button set to 30 seconds or less so absolutely inconvenient to take a shower. overall i would never stay in this place again, not worth the money

It is an urban city, but does not feel this way.
It is an urban city, but does not feel this way. It has many shops and supermarkets handy, like Action, Albert Heijn, Jumbo HEMA to name a few. Willem Eggert Centrum is there. Any kind of food imaginable from Sushi, Belgian Frites, Doner kebabs and sometimes you can find a Vietnamese truck selling Loempias, an Asian crispy egg-roll like spicy snack filled with meat, veggies, vegetarian and even a fish version, and with a spicy chutney sauce.
The Avia bridge is a must-see . Don't ascend if you're not comfortable.

Nice rural location with real Dutch feel.
Nice rural location with real Dutch feel. Good connection to Amsterdam by train and easy to get to in any case. Very good facilities with very fast broadband. Friendly and helpful landlord and lady.
Highly recommended.
Snags: There is a traffic ban to Pumerend from 0600 to 0900 and 1600 to 1900 Monday to Friday, depending on direction. Make sure you are coming the right way at the right time!
Our bedroom had a very steep staircase, so avoid if you can't use stairs.

Really nice accomodation!
Really nice accomodation! Situated in the citycentre of Purmerend. Near all shops, supermarkets, restaurants (Koemarkt) and public transport in front of the room. The room comes complete with all comfort a traveller needs! Including coffeemachine (Senseo with pads), fridge, double electric cooking furnace and normal double bed (soft). Also in this room a chaise longue to hangout on. A beautiful bigscreen tv is near the couch. The lights work with a remote control (touch sensitive). The bathroom is equipped with a good shower and needs some adjustment first. An combi-oven is also situated in the kitchen next to the table with three stools. When visiting Amsterdam or Volendam, this is the place to stay! The public transport brings you in about 15 minutes to Amsterdam Noord where you can travel to Amsterdam Centraal/ Citycentre. Bus 301/ 307 and 314 are the most used lines to Amsterdam of Volendam.

Guests were very kind and here for us, they were paying attention to everything. They also offer us some wine from France, who was delicious. The studio was perfect and we did sleep very well ! We really like our trip to Purmerend, thanks to our hosts.
It is also very easy to go to Amsterdam by bus, after a 10 minutes walk you can take the bus and go for a walk in Amsterdam.
The very first trip together outside France and we are very happy. Thanks again Adriana & Nico !
Very close to shops
Travel to and from ansterdam was easy, but expensive.
Buses and trains run up to midnight, I think the last is around 1am back to Purmerend.
Nice neighbours and neighbourhood felt safe would recommend LBGTQI l+ to come visit.
I liked the recommended activities and restaurant👌 but would like to know more about what Purmerend has to offer.
The venue was great value, clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and helpful giving us good advice and ideas. Also offering to loan supplies. Was easy to catch bus into Amsterdam and saved a lot of money that way (much cheaper than accommodation in town). Purmerend itself was a lovely town too.
I spend very nice time in Purmerend and the stays in this hostel is pleasant. You can meet many interesting people with diverse backgrounds. I am very glad that I picked this place during my stay.
