Beautiful position on side of lake, nicely presented. Good location for visiting many gorgeous villages. Dined at the hotel for 2 nights, the food was excellent & catered specifically to us. Excellent service & lovely attentive staff. We would love to visit again & would thoroughly recommend.

Everything was perfect! Els is a great host! Nice house, comfy bed, very clean. Free parking place just a minutes walk. And Monnickendam itself is a great place to visit, Volendam is very close and easy to reach Amsterdam.

The staff were very nice and the hostel has a lovely terrace and bar area with cheap drinks, this is a nice place to meet other travellers. The showers and toilets were very clean and always available.
