Room was a small cockpit. Not for a week stay on the beach. Great breakfast, not a buffet but more that I could eat. I stayed only one night. Within walking distance to the beach. Café and restaurant in tthe Hotel. In fact it is rather a café and restaurant with some rooms.
Pretty neighborhood with a welcoming atmosphere. The reserve is beautiful, and perfect for day trips. Some cute cafes and restaurants that, when things start to open up again, will be buzzing with energy. Overveen is a little gem!

The hotel is only ten minutes walk away the railway station - and you don't hear the trains. In 35 minutes you're in Amsterdam. Perfect!; Overveen is a delightful place as is nearby Haarlem.
The Dutch are so friendly- I love them.

Small but well resourced area on edge of Haarlem. Good supermarket, excellent ice-cream shop, bakery and coffee/restaurant. Regular trains to Amsterdam and coast. Close to beach and national park. Very leafy and quiet area. Haarlem just a 25 minute walk if you want great food, plenty of shops and beautiful church.
Nice apartment very conveniently situated in the middle of Overveen, which is a lovely little town near the beach with great public transport connections to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Big comfortable bed, modern bathroom, little balcony where you can sit. The apartment is above a friendly and good quality pizza restaurant so there is a little bit of kitchen noise early in the evenings but they close early.
Great place to stay for short holiday. Easy for day trips to Haarlem and Amsterdam on the train from Overveen. Klein Centraal Restaurant at Overveen train station on the way back from day trip was special (www.klein-centraal.nl). Always full so need to book a table....
The room was comfortable with nice views. Tasty breakfast. Good location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady who checked us into the hotel on 06/04/2022, and who looked after us at different times after that.
Overveen is a small picturesque Dutch village in between the North Sea and Haarlem, a must see town just outside Amsterdam. it is a train ride away from gorgeous seaside sunsets and farmers markets and the true life Holland cultural Mecca.
Cute gem at great location. The hotel arranged free parking. Adorable interior design. Very clean and nice with a kettle in the room. Great steaks at the hotel restaurant!
